Jetblue changes flight times?

I have a quick question for you'll. I have a flight for June 27 and July 8 for JFK-MCO roundtrip. jetBlue changed our flight times and set us a half an hour earlier than my flight departure time. I was wondering if anyone else had this happen to them, especially a trip involving JFK.

All airlines, not only Jet Blue or at JFK change flight times. They are usually trimming or adding flights in a given day as they see demand for seats change.

They've changed our flight times 4 times already... We are leaving August 25th and returning Sept. 4th and it keeps moving up by 1/2 hr increments... I got so frustrated that I called them and they said they could issue me a full credit for the trip b/c it was out of my control... or I could move my flight earlier or later in the day and not have to pay the difference... silver lining I guess

My Sept flight from BOS changed 30 minutes also.

Once I was flying using ff miles on Delta, and they change their flights CONSTANTLY (and they don't tell you!) Since I was on miles I didn't have direct flights. They changed mine so much I ended up getting direct flights that would have cost more miles if I booked those segments originally!

Ours got changed twice from JFK to LAX in July. My DD and I are flying from Westchester to MCO in October, but that hasn't changed. I think the JFK flights are changing quite a bit due to the runway work.:confused3 At least, that's my theory...........

Yup,airlines do that all the time, especially if you book as soon as flights are released. I know this(thanks to all in the know here on the DIS!),so I'm never surprised or ticked off. I will continue to book early in spite of the changes because in my experience, booking my flights early(like as soon as they're released)I'm able to get some really good rates.
Have a great trip and don't sweat the small time change!:goofy:

Our BUF-MCO flight in Sept was changed as well. Originally 7am, now 8:40am. For us, that works out better!

Now if they'll just change the return flight to a later time... I'd love to spend the extra time at our Resort. ;)

Check your flts again, mine in Sept out of Westchester, they cancelled our 7:45pm flt and put us on the 5:20pm flt. we are now considering staying extra night since they will let us change to next day morning flt for free.
