Jet Blue TV question

Was just on their website, and it looks like Directv is free to watch. Do you have to pay for the headphones? ESPN looks like it is on the free list, and my flight is 8:00pm and their is a MNF game on @ 8:30, so do I get to watch the game? On the plane? For free? Man, that would just cap off a sweet Halloween weekend at WDW! Anyone know if I'm reading it right?

I ended up flying Frontier during a playoff game. I had to pay for the directTV, but I did it gladly and the flight went so fast! Enjoy your FREE directTV!

I watched ESPN (free)on my flight so I would say you can watch it... I brought my own headphones.

Free to watch the TV listings. Movies and a feature channel are for a fee (maybe $6). XM radio is free. Some channels could loose connection depending upon atmospheric and other issues. Headphones for a fee (sometimes simple ones and "upgraded" ones for a few bucks more). Standard 1/8th inch jacks.

You bring your own headphones or earbuds. They have some cheaps ones they sell at the desk (cash) or onboard (w/cc) for $2.00.

We've been bringing our own JB ones for the last 10+ trips and they are still hanging in there.

The headphones they sell are very uncomfortable. Any standard earphones will work. I use my ipod earphones. There are lots of TV channels to chose from.

Yes, but MNF is on ESPN, and that is one of the free channels, so that is what I will be watching

I'll have my Zune headphones, so I'll use those. they should work, right? Just plain-Jane earbuds (although they are cool Tinkerbelle green ).

Fyi, all the stations are out of NYC, so if you wind up flying on a Sunday, you'll get whatever football games the CBS & FOX stations are playing in the NYC market.

I fly Jet Blur faithfully when I travel to WDW... Great company. The one piece of advice I can give you though is IF it is in the budget get yourself a pair of noise cancelling headphones! Been quite a lifesaver for me on many flights with screeching children.

Headphones it seems are a hit or miss. I am wearing my Jetblue headphones right now from back in April, and love them! Some people hate them though. I guess it depends.

You know, I've never flown where kids were a problem. Just lucky I guess, knock on wood!
