Jet Blue opening?

Hmmmmm, I think some of you might be right about JB blocking 3rd party bookings. I tried looking at Google Flights again and yes, it redirected to the home page where you had to pick flights again.

So, remember how they had charged me two times for flights???

If not, brief history....I picked flights through Google Flights and went through the process and hit payment and then got an error message. I checked my checking account - and no deductions or anything - no email confirmation so I did it again, and same error.

A few minutes later, I got both charges put on hold in my checking account and several email confirmations of flights...:scared:

So, I called JB and they canceled one reservation and processed a refund for me.

Next day, I check my checking account and both holds had fallen off....OK, I know my payments to Disney do this too...they put a hold on, and then it drops off and a few days later is deducted....

So I wait for today....and check my checking account -- and the refund has been processed!!! But, I haven't even been charged yet!!! So, now I am up $1300....!!!!

On the JB website, if I pull up the two reservations, the one that was cancelled has no options to do anything with it, so clearly it's dead. The one that wasn't canceled, I can still make changes, etc....so I'm sure it's good.

Hopefully, tomorrow both deductions are made or JB just paid ME $1300 to fly....:rolleyes1

I still see my charges pending in my CC also. I bought points on Tuesday and it finally moved from pending late last night. I can also see my flights on JetBlue. I am also nervous until the charges really post. I keep checking my credit card.

I hear ya! I just want all of the money to be where it's supposed to be, LOL

It's criminal what JetBlue's rates are for 2016. I was one of the lucky ones who was able to get great price through Google Flights. Had I booked directly through JetBlue I would have paid $1600 more for my April 2016 flights than I paid in April 2015 (a 130% increase!). To be fair though, the rate that I got for my 2015 flight was really good compared to what other folks I know paid for their airfare.

Regardless, JetBlue's 2016 prices are absurd. I really hope no one books JetBlue and they drop their rates.

It's not just JB...it's all airlines. No wonder they all are now being investigated by the Feds (although nothing is likely to come of that).

For those who were fortunate enough to get Google Flights to work for them (never did for me)...did anyone get charged yet - or is there just a hold? I wouldn't be surprised if in the end JB never honors those bookings through Google Flights.

My story,
the Google flight I got Wednesday on the jump over to jet blue for April 16-23rd is confirmed on their web site Under manage flights. I paid $840 for the non-stop round trip for the 3 of us. if I had tried to book the same flight on the jet blue web site the price would have been $3,780 for the exact same flight. today the exact same flight would be $3,810 up $30. the charge is still pending on my visa and my wife is still waiting for the flight to be cancelled or something to happen. jet blue did block Google so I can't jump over the way I did Wednesday. I don't know what's going on with jet blue but I hope they don't mess up our flights.
good luck all,
Joe

I guess timing was everything, I got 2 round trip out of Boston, non stop for April vacation with insurance added in and taxes and fees the total was $588. Less than 300 round trip made me very happy I was expecting way more considering school vacation week. I too booked through google flights and can pull up my flight info on the jetblue site...I am sorry for those who are having issues booking....

Well, two days ago I did the book JetBlue, heard about Google flights, canceled original JetBlue, booked through GoogleFlights. My original JetBlue was $1800 for three of us, my GoogleFlights JetBlue was $780 for three of us. Both charges $2600...yikes) were pending on my credit card for two days until this morning it was moved to being charged. The refund for my original flights showed up for credit and my new GoogleFlight JetBlue charges of $780 were charged, so everything worked out perfectly and Jet Blue obviously honored those prices (albeit probably not happily) but my JetBlue account has my new itinerary on there and I am paid in full, so JB did honor that booking. I feel bad that the rest of the people who came in just a tad late didn't get the savings the rest of us got. I have always had high praise for JetBlue, but something smells fishy here, as for the past two days, the families I recommended GoogleFlights to are STILL unable to get JetBlue to work for discounted fares...hmmm? :sad2:

Has anyone heard anything about when the spring bwi-Mco flights will be loaded? I know a few others on this thread are looking for that route too...

If JB decides to turn around and not honor the prices after customers book their flight and receive confirmation (from JetBlue), it would be a PR nightmare for them. I think they've done all they can do at this point by putting a stop to further bookings through Google Flights. I'm not the least bit concerned about the flights that I booked through Google being cancelled or the price not being honored.

My charges are still pending, but I do have the confirmation from JetBlue. I will feel better once the charge goes thru though.

Just tried Google Flights again. The prices have significantly jumped up and now basically match what is on JB's site. It still doesn't work when I click on the "Book with JetBlue" link. Still just redirects to JB's home page like it always did the last couple of days. Not that I was going to actuallycomplete a booking of $2773 total round-trip for 4 :scared1: , I was just seeing if it worked now.

Still waiting here. I sent them an email this morning asking if the new route that hasn't even begun yet is ending on February 10th since that's the last time one is showing. I'm sure it will be days before I get an answer, if any.

I am one of the unlucky ones who could not book thru Googleflights. My DH goes to Daytona Bike week every year with a good friend and the airfare is around $250 give or take every year (PVDorBOS to MCO). JetBlue is charging $544 !!!They are really pushing us right onto Southwest!!!The couple of phone calls I made to JB during this fiasco, they didn't even really acknowledge the problems they were having.I did book our April/May outgoing flight out of Boston for a reasonable amount but some of those are well over $200 one way. This has had me obssessed for days!!

My charges posted over night also. I admit I was nervous until they did. Still having trouble managing flight on site for one I booked by calling. They had to force it to book with points and accept my credit card. So that one I was not as concerned about.

My charges posted on Thursday but I received my confirmation from Jetblue on Wednesday when I booked my flight....2 round trip, non stop from Boston for April vacation for $520 on Jetblues website right now the flights are 5 times that much....kudos to those who were able to book with google flights, that is how I booked mine.
