Jet Blue is starting to fly out of Hartford, CT in the fall so I booked our trip for Dec thru them. I'm so excited since I've heard such good things. I check on their website every now and then to see if the prices go down and I noticed the time on my return flight has changed.

Do they notify you of changes? I always fly SW and they've never changed their times. I haven't given my ME info to Disney yet and am not sure if I should give them what's on my confirmation or what I see on the website. :confused3

I've never flown Jet Blue, but if it were me, I'd give them the info from the website. I could be wrong on this, but I thought I was told by someone on the phone at ME that the most important thing is for them to have your flight #. They keep track of the times based on your flight #. Someone feel free to correct me if this is inaccurate, but I feel fairly certain that the flight # is the most important info. Truthfully, I don't think your arrival time really matters (except that if you arrive after 10pm you will need to p/u your own luggage). And hotel Departure times are based on the flight #. Now that I think about it... on the last trip, I had the flight # but not the time when I called to set up ME. And that is when I believe they told me the flight # was the only thing that they needed from me, they'd take care of the rest.
Good Luck and have a wonderful trip!!! :goodvibes

We fly Delta and they have changed our flight times 3 times since we purchased tickets. They never once notified us. I have had to go to and change everything around, including seat arrangements. Every time, the flight number has changed, too. Does JetBlue have a place where you can check your itineraries? That is where I would start. That would have your info for flight changes. I was told carrier and flight number is what was needed for DME.

Generally, airlines will notify you, or your travel agent, at least three week prior to your trip.

Check out their website to see if there is a flight that will work out better for you then give them a call. The customer service is great and you will not be charged a change fee because they changed the time. I love Jetblue, they are very helpful. :thumbsup2

Then you can give ME a call and change the info or just wait til you get there since it is your flight coming home.

OP Thanks for posting. We too are trying Jetblue in December out of BDL and I hadn't noticed the change to 7:59 pm. I think things could shift a bit since they don't begin flying until Nov.

We're flying out of BDL in Dec too. I just noticed today that our departing flight changed from 6:55 to 7:59 pm. Not too psyched on that since we were hesitant to book that flight in the first place with it getting in at 9:30pm. :sad2: Our arriving flight did change too by about 20 minutes. We received a phone call with a recorded message about 2 weeks after the change on the website with the new flight information. I'm sure we'll get a call regarding our departing flight too. Now, we'll have a full day at WDW on our departing day. ME won't pick us up until close to 5:00pm.

What days are you all flying? We're going 12/4 - 12/11.

I think JetBlue does the time switch pretty often! Did you provide JetBlue with an email address when you first booked? They changed my Orlando departure hour three different times in the months leading up to my last trip, but each, they sent an email when it switched.

JetBlue slightly changed the times for our upcoming flights out of HPN (and the flight back). We never got notified but when I look up our itinerary the new times are there. Strange thing is, when I pick the option to re-email the itinerary to myself, the email shows up with the OLD times on it:confused3.

Delta never notifies me either, I always watch my itinerary on their website. They usually make changes on Saturday night. I booked in February for this coming October and there have been changes. They changed the model of the plane a couple of times and moved us to the back of the plane! There were plenty of seats in the front of coach, that's not very fair. I changed them back. Last weekend our return was changed to an earlier time, I called them and was able to get a later return. We're about 3 months out now, I hope there are no more major changes.

I actually don't think JetBlue changes flight times "very" often, but when they do, they DO notify the passengers affected.

Common sense: they notify passengers in the order affected. The OP is flying in December? They will get to her, and a lot sooner than the three weeks or so in advance that bicker notes (sorry, bicker - usually you're right, but we're talking about JetBlue :teeth: ). I think the one time they did this to me that the change wasn't weather-related, I noticed the change on my own in June for a late September flight and accepted it. I got an automated e-mail notification about a week later telling me about the schedule change, but I could ignore it ;).

Jet Blue Changed our flight times in Aug.

It ended up being a godsend. Instead of flights at ok times with a change in DC Jet Blue allowed us to change our flights free of charge to enable non-stop flights at amazing times (We picked up 2 more 1/2 days in the parks due to the new times)

Look at what other flights are available. If something works better for you, call, they will change it no problem. I have found Jet Blue to be an amazing airline to deal with and top notch in customer service.

Wow, this week keeps getting better and better... :goodvibes

First, I get a Free Dining pin with no blackout dates (our dates were originally blacked out) to apply to our ressie, which saved us close to $900!! :yay:

Then today, I log on to our Jet Blue ressie to see that the flight was pushed up 28 minutes. We were scheduled to leave Boston at 2:08pm, they changed it to 1:50pm... and JetBlue allowed me to switch to a whole new flight due to the schedule change, and now WE ARE LEAVING AT 6AM!! :worship: We get an "extra" day at The World, now we are getting to Orlando at 9am as opposed to 5:30pm! This is SO my week!

We received a phone call with a recorded message about 2 weeks after the change on the website with the new flight information.

I received a phone call with a recorded message from JetBlue as well. About a month or so back.

Our original flight time was 7am. It was changed to 8:40am.

My husband & I decided to look at it as a "good" change. Yeah, we will be arriving 1 1/2 hours later now... However, it gives us and the kids a chance to sleep in a little bit longer before dashing off to the airport.

Now, I would love JetBlue to change our returning flight to a LATER time!!!
