Today I did my online cruise check-in for our Disney Honeymoon Cruise. Disney Cruise Line now offers the option to fill out all the check-in forms online to save time on the day of arrival. I did it and it was very simple and hassle-free. I am sure I will thank myself when the day comes to board the ship, because it will be a lot smoother without having to fill out all the forms when we arrive at Port Canaveral. I also planned one shore excursion for DH and me. Our first port of call will be Nassau, so I thought booking an excursion would be fun. I chose the Atlantis Aquaventure excursion. It is an eight hour event that will transport us to the famous Atlantis resort.
We will spend the day at the Atlantis Resort Aquaventure water park. We will be transported via an air-conditioned motor coach to Paradise Island. Once we arrive, we'll first go on a walking tour featuring overviews of Atlantis' famous aquarium, casinos, stores, and dining.

Next, it's onto Aquaventure. This 63 acre water park features water slides, water holes, special effects, 'river' rapids and water holes. There's the 120 foot tall Power Tower with 4 slides, and the Abyss which sends you on a near vertical 50 foot plunge through complete darkness into the pool below. Inner tubes will take you to The Drop, The Falls, The Surge and The Rapids. DH and I are big water park buffs. We love the Disney water parks, so we are anxious to compare the Atlantis Aquaventure to Disney.

Aside from the water park we will be able to enjoy the resort's sandy shores as well as the Royal Baths or Lazy River pools. There are also bike, kayak and snorkeling rentals available. The casinos offer slots, blackjack and craps. We can spend our winnings at the upscale shopping centers. An air-conditioned motor coach will take us back to port after our day at Atlantis. We are super excited. The excursion costs a pretty penny, but it is worth it, since we get to take advantage of all the amenities the Atlantis Resort has to offer. This is also the only excursion we are booking. When we port at Disney’s Castaway Cay, we will be going with the flow. Enjoying the island at our leisure!:cutie:

Those slippers are great, where did you find them?

I've heard so many great things from a friend of mine about the Atlantis Resort's pool, I think you made a good choice!

I have been working on my welcome bags lately,... or more like thinking about the way I want them to turn out. I have gotten so many great ideas from past Disney brides, so thank you ladies! I know I want to find perdot green or yellow gift bags for my adult guests. I also need to find small Disney bags for the three children that will be attending the wedding. Anyway, I want to put a custom-made tag or logo on each of the welcome bags to make it more personal. I created these on MSWord this weekend. Tell me what you think...

I found the glass slippers for the favors at Hobby Lobby. They come in bags of 12 each. If you meant the actual wedding slippers, I found them at David's Bridal by the regular wedding shoes. :rotfl:

I like your welcome bag image! I have been working on the same thing but I am not happy with the image I have come up with - I think mine looks kind of amateurish.

Thank you Lisa! I am sure your image looks wonderful. Don't second guess yourself.

Your getting so close to you wedding . I'm sure you are getting so excited!!!!:cloud9:

I am getting very excited. I just finished my first year as a elementary teacher. Now that school is out all I have to do is worry about the wedding and count down to the big event!:rotfl:

I just caught up on everything! Your dress is gorgeous! It's getting very close, the countdown is on. Congrats on finishing your first year as an elementary school teacher! :woohoo:

Yes... the big event is getting very close. I keep pinching myself... "Is this really going to happen like I have always dreamed?"

Thank you for the congrats! Finishing my first year teaching is such a huge hurtle for me. I am going to miss my wonderful kids, but I am ready to dive right into all the Disney wedding stuff!

Well, last weekend I had my family and friend bridal shower! It was wonderful! My sister and two best friends did a great job planning. My sister lives in St. Louis (about 3 hours from me) and she planned all of it from a distance. She traveled down on Friday and the shower was on Saturday!

The decorations were perfect. They went along with my wedding theme of peridot green and pale yellow. My two friends ordered the cake. It was great! They surprised me with Tinkerbell as the cake topper!

We had the shower at my aunt’s house… it was a packed house. More people showed up than I expected. It was so nice; there were about 30 gals there. I received so many amazing gifts. My sister created the games and she got really creative. She even integrated a technology aspect. She filmed DF the night before while asking him questions and then she asked me the questions to see if I answered them the same as DF. She then played DF responses in front of everyone. It was hilarious, everyone loved it. I did pretty good… I match 11 questions out of 20 with DF. We also played the “Who Knows the Bride Best Game”. I was surprise by the winner. Out of 30 guests, my step-mother won. My mom was not very happy; she thought she was for sure going to win. I think my step-mother was just a lucky guesser. It was pretty funny seeing the look on everyone’s face. I received a lot of red kitchen appliances. My kitchen is Mickey Mouse themed, so I registered for many red kitchen items. I got my red cookware, a red George Foreman Grill, a red blinder, red kitchen gadgets, and many more.

My future mother-in-law got us the Precious Moments Bride and Groom with Mickey ears! It is so beautiful. My future sister-in-law got us two personalized, silver bookends from disneyshopping.com. They feature a picture frame on each one… one has a Mickey Groom and the other a Minnie Bride. The Mickey Groom side has my DF’s and my name engraved on it and the Minnie Bride side has our wedding date engraved on it. They are really neat!

The whole event was an amazing experience. That night, my sister, my two best friends, and I went out to eat and then went to a local dueling piano bar for my official bachelorette party. They bought me a “Miss Bachelorette” sash and made me wear it. It was a great evening. The whole day was one to remember!

3 weeks Jessica!:woohoo::woohoo: :woohoo:

(in case you werent keeping track!):rotfl:

Oh, I know... I just can not believe it! It is getting so close. My DF and I are off today so we are doing some serious wedding errands. We are going to the court house today to get our marriage license application notarized. We are doing it through the mail so we don't have to waste time worrying about it on vacation. Although, I am not sure I would make the same decision if I did it again. It is a big hassle. I originally applied for it at the beginning of April and it has taken too long to get everything confirmed. It has been making me a little nervous. We are also going to go shopping for all of the goodies for our guest welcome bags. I hope you are doing amazing, our days are getting so close. Before we know it the big day will be here!

wow Jessica - You are one week earlier than me!!! It's coming up fast!
So neat! I will be on my second leg of our Disney World honeymoon during your VR. Our wedding is the week before yours, then we leave for our Disney cruise, and then during your wedding week we are back in the world. We are getting so close. How excited are you?
