OK, so I have been working on my welcome bags lately. I do have a long way to go with them, but I wanted to post what I have done so far. I chose white gift bags and decorated them with the graphic that I made. I also punched green cardstock with my Mickey punches and glued them to the bags. I am pretty happy with them. It is not the best work I have ever done, but I can be satisfied with it.
For the two kids that will be attending, I purchased smaller gift bags and put Disney scrapbook stickers on them. I also had some left over Mickey letter stickers, so I put the kids names on their bags as well. I think I have finished buying for the kid bags. Here are a few pictures of the goodies that will be going into each childs bag.
Oh, I also purchased a few Disney Dollars to stick in the kids bags too. I love the look and feel of the Disney Dollars; the dollars feel like real money. Notice; Scrooge McDucks signature on the bills! So clever!
I plan to purchase many snacks, necessities, and fun things for the adult bags. So far I have purchase some fun Disney pins. I found them at the Disney Store yesterday when their pins where 50% off. I bought all of the guests a Disney Family vacation pin. I thought it fit perfectly for the occasion!
I also created a sticker that will be attached to the necessities bag that will contain band-aids, sunscreen, gum, Shout wipes, tic-tacs, etc Thanks to a few of you on the boards for that idea!
Also, I snagged some information brochures for the parks that were available at my local Disney Store. It is filled with park maps, helpful hints, and other information about the parks that I thought my guest could use. Thank you Sandy for the idea!
These will be inserted into the folders that I still need to find. I will also put my welcome newsletter in the folder with postcards, stamps, My DFs and my Top-Ten Things That Cant Be Missed In the Parks list, and other info. Wow! I still have so much to do!!! I am stumped on the welcome newsletter! If any of you have a finished welcome newsletter that you dont mind posting, I would love to get some ideas from it! I think I am getting writers-block when it come to that stinker.
Lastly, here is the finalized wedding program that I made. I am only putting a picture of the front and back page of the program, because those are the only pages that have changes since I posted last about it. The Thank You page has a faint picture backdrop of my DF and me sitting on a dock with our backs to the camera. I hope you can see it in the picture. It looks really nice in reality!
Only fourteen more days until we leave and eight days until the big day! I cannot believe it!
I am sorry for a few of the blurry pictures!
