Day 7 - November 4
Back to EPCOT today. I had schedule a DIS meet for 2pm. We had skipped SE the other day. Today, we were the first 3 people to enter the ride. Went to Living Seas from there. We hadn't bothered going there the last couple of visits because the place had gotten pretty run down and boring. I wanted to check it out this time because I heard they had updated some things with Nemo characters. Well, that was a waste. It is still run down, 2 of the 4 rooms on the ground floor were closed, there was no manatee in the tank, and the main tank looked rather empty - don't know where all the fish were. I hope they get a new sponsor soon, or Disney spends some of their own money to rejuvenate what used to be one of our favorites.
Headed over to get FP for Mission: Space, but got there and there was no line at all. So DD and I rode while DW got TT FP. With FP, got a "Surprise" FP for Honey I Shrunk the Audience. Turns out that wasn't really necessary since there was no line there either, but we saw the show then had lunch at Electric Umbrella. Not time for DIS meet yet so we visited Ice Station Cool.
7 people showed up for the meet including 2 CM's (one was the woman we met at CP). We spent about 40 minutes chatting before going our seperate ways. Really nice to meet some folks in person.
Just in time to use our TT FP. Then went back to condo for a while before heading to MGM for Fantasmic. Grabbed dinner at the theater concessions (and packed a couple of snacks with us).
Leaving the park we had an extended wait for the tram. Turned out one tram had broken down in the lot and was blocking the way making it hard for the other trams to get around.
AK tomorrow, our last day.
