Jersey Week 06 WONDER November 9th

There are other threads in cruise meets about the November 9th 3 day on the WONDER but not much activity in them. Since 11/9/06 - 11/10/06 is the annual teacher's convention in New Jersey, I was wonder if there are any other New Jerseyians cruising on the WONDER during Jersey Week this year. It will be myself, DH and DD(9).

Hi, count us in as another New Jersey family heading to the high seas during New Jersey Week. There will be five of us: myself, my DW, DS (13), DS (11) and our DD who will turn 2 on the trip! Her birthday was our original reason for planning the trip. The fact the children were out of school was a bonus!!

We took a 4 day cruise in April of 2005 during our schools spring break. We were amazed at how many New Jersey families were onboard.

We are hoping for a cruise on the Magic in 2008, but will have to see if the local School Board sticks with its proposed calendar or changes Spring Break again. They have already changed the 2006-2007 calendar once to move their spring break. I am hopeful that they will not be making any more changes to the 2007-2008 published calendar! Oh well, if they do we will deal with that problem when we need to.

We are just looking forward to this November!!

We have altered school year too. Our district is under contruction had a two day spring break in 2005-06, a June 2 last day and a September 18th return for 2006-07. It will be altered for 2006-07 too at spring break. A lot of people from our town are heading to florida in the first two week of September but I said no way because the weather is so iffy.

We are looking forward to the cruise too. Our first. Our DD turns 9 around the cruise time too. We will be celebrating her birthday too. Happy cruising.
