This would be everybody standing outside watching us...HELLO PPL.. you're supposed to be sitting in the lobby!!!

Here's a few more we took before the ceremony.

It's so hard picking which ones to post!!

Anyway.. After we took the pics on the Boardwalk, we went back inside to wait for the guests to be taken down to Sea Breeze Point. We took some more pics in here while we were waiting. (Most of the pics in the previous post were taken during this time as well.)

I don't know about you.. but I feel like pics help tell the story!!

We waited inside near the lounge (actually by the elevators in the pics) with Randy and Regina until Tanis told us it was ok to go. I have to admit.. I was a little nervous at this point. Nothing too bad though. I was actually more nervous during our MK/Epcot pics. Crazy, huh?!

While me and Charley were here, Mr. Ron Rosenzweig came to meet us! This was our first time seeing him. He was super nice. He ran through the ceremony, took our marriage license, and our rings (both of which Charley had been carrying in his jacket pocket since 5:30am!) We didn't want to risk anyway forgetting them. And it's a good thing we did take them, because my Mom forgot half the stuff in the room!!!!

My Dad came in with Tanis so he could escort me down the aisle!! Ron explained everything to my Dad, and what he was supposed to do. Then Charley kind of just disappeared with Ron to start heading down the Boardwalk. Like he was there.. then he was gone!! I wish someone would've been walking with him to get shots of them going down. Oh well. You think of stuff like that later on. Everything seems to be focused on the bride and her getting from point A to point B. Tanis was giving me a little pep talk and checking out my dress.. making sure everything was ok.. just dirt and rips.. that's all!! Thank God that didn't really show up in pics.

Then Tanis said it was time for us to make our way to the ceremony. Finally!! I just wish I would've slowed down and took my time. Tanis even told me to slow down one time. Apparently I was walking pretty fast. (I'm used to doing that though. I'm short and Charley is tall.. I have to walk fast just to keep up!!! ) Randy and Regina went out ahead of us, and we took the elevator down...

Randy was waiting for us when we came out.

I really don't remember what we talked about while we were walking. I know it was at this point that Tanis was telling me to slow down. She was walking down there with us. As you can see, she was caught in a couple of shots! She was trying to stay out of them, but I'm glad he got her.

I wasn't really tired. My feet were KILLING me!!! That is def. no lie!! I seriously wish I had of worn my TOMS. We're used to being up early, so that was no biggie. And yes, I was just very excited. As I'm sure you can tell by my smile. I NEVER smile that big. Everybody at work was like "Who IS this girl?!" hahahaha

Thursday, September 15th, 2011 (cont.. I promise I WILL finish this day out eventually!!)

So as you saw, we made our way down to Sea Breeze Point. It didn't feel like it took us that long to get down there. There weren't a whole lot of people out and about.. but there was enough!! People were taking pics of us walking down and everything. Kind of crazy!! It was fun though! My feet were seriously killing me though. My Dad kept trying to help me carry my dress!!! That didn't quite work out so well... But we finally made it down.

Tanis got me set and ready to go!! We never discussed which way we'd be walking in from with her though. I just know when she sent me off, she told me to follow the petals... so that's what I did!! We made our way down the long entrance, following the yellow petals..

I will admit.. I didn't really notice much during the walk down the aisle. I know you're supposed to "take everything in". I was just trying to not bust my ***!! How embarrassing would that be?!!? I didn't really pay attention to the guests AT ALL!! I knew they would either make me cry or laugh. Neither of which I wanted to do! lol My eyes were watering bad enough from the sun!

I didn't even notice the music while I was walking down. Not one bit. Charley said it was the perfect song for me to enter to. (A Whole New World) I told him I didn't hear it!! lol He said they did. I guess that's all that matters.

Anyway.. me and my Dad finally made it to the end of the aisle.

This whole event was kind of surreal... like "it's finally happening after 10.5 yrs". My Dad was to kiss me and hand me off to my Groom. So that's what he did.

Thursday, September 15th, 2011 (cont)

It was time to begin the ceremony. (I bet you never thought we'd get to this point, huh? lol) We chose to use the ceremony part itself that Ron provided. He sent us some stuff to look through, and we just picked something we thought best suited us as a couple. It wasn't an extremely long ceremony, but it wasn't short either. The perfect amount of time. I thought he did an awesome job. We were very happy that we chose him.

So basically, he spoke about the things that make up a successful marriage. Love, Friendship, Loyalty, Fidelity, and Trust. He gave a little speech, I'd guess you'd say, about each of those things. I thought it went well with our relationship.

Then it was time for our vows to each other. Again we just used the standard.. no writing of the vows for this gal!!! I went through mine without a hitch... no stutters stops.. which is quite surprising, since I tend to get tongue-tied when I'm nervous. Guess I was all good here!! lol

Charley on the other hand.. that's a whole other story!! hahaha Ron went through the whole spill and asked for Charley to repeat after him.. but then Charley never repeated.. Ron just looked at him... and he was like "Oh ok.. it's my turn now!!" He told us that he thought Ron was still talking to me. He didn't notice the attention turned his way. My Mom says he was just staring at me too much to notice what they were saying!! hahahaha

So of course, after all that's over and done with.. it's time for the kiss. We're definitely not a couple that's big on PDA. Never have been. We'll hold hands and stuff like that. But I can't stand to see 2 people just full on going at it in public. Leave it for the bedroom people!!! hahaha We didn't practice our kiss or anything. I guess that's best though. Don't want to get too upset if things didn't go the way you wanted them to.

It was truly magical. Nobody else mattered.. and I don't think I really even noticed anybody else anyway... not even the cake guy coming in and setting up during the ceremony. lol

Yes it was sweet!

But as you can see in some of those pics.. that damn line on the bodice. Take this as a warning to make sure everything is right.. and that you have on the correct undergarments!! This was one of the problems I had. My undergarments had boning and shouldn't have. I was too stubborn, and after spending $50 on some kind of bra thing from VS that I ended up not being able to wear... I just refused to spend anymore money on underwear!!! lol But I wish I would have.

And yes.. the cake was set up sometime during the ceremony. Not sure when it actually occurred, but I do have a pic!! lol

I don't think this is something that you'll have to worry about though. You're probably doing you're cake cutting at the reception or DP, right? We were going to do the cake at the reception, but since we wanted outdoor pics with Mickey and Minnie.. and we only had Randy until 12:30pm.. we decided to do our cake cutting and toast outside. Then had the cake moved to the reception to be served after brunch. But I'll get to that in a min. lol Basically, it was hot as hell.. they told us the cake couldn't be out for the entire ceremony or it would melt. So this was cool with me. Like I said, I didn't even notice it going on!!!

So.. looking back on things, I wish I would've been more strict on the dress code for the wedding. I just told people to wear whatever, as long as they looked decent. I should've just picked out everyone's outfits.

We were finally married!!! Yay!! We made our way back down the aisle to "Married Life". I love UP!!!

We went out to stand and wait for our family and friends to come congratulate us. Random people were walking by and taking pics and waving at us. It was really sweet. Kind of makes you feel important. lol

This whole process went pretty quick. I mean, we only had 18 people to hug and kiss...or high five! lol So that was pretty cool.

After all of that, we head back into the gazebo area or whatever you want to call it. Now it was time for us to see the whole cake set-up. I LOVED it. We didn't have kind of special request. We just told them our colors.. said we wanted the ear topper, and to have at it! It was the only surprise we had throughout the whole wedding ceremony. I'm glad we liked it!! I was kind of worried, but I knew everything would turn out just perfect in the end.

Here are some pics Randy took of the cake after it was set-up.

I really like the way they had the cake table decorated. We didn't bring or ask for any of the stuff that was on the table. They provided all of that. We were quite shocked when we saw everything. All we asked for were a scattering of yellow petals and the Mickey/Minnie cake topper that comes with the Escape package be placed on the table. After that was said and done, I asked Charley if we should get something else for the cake table.. and he said no. Simple was fine. Now I'm glad we didn't. They did a great job decorating it themselves.

So now it's time for the toast. We had to do this before Mickey and Minnie came even though we had sparkling cider. This I didn't get... but it is what it is. I didn't really care. My Dad basically just thanked everyone for coming and told us he was glad we finally made it here!! lol

Tanis and the cake guy (name? lol) started getting all of the glasses off the cake table, because our surprise guests were about to arrive!!

Next up.. Mickey and Minnie!!!!

I can't really see any boning! But my computer screen is also kinda dirty. You still look gorgeous either way.

I LOVE your cake, and I LOVE the Mad Hatter decorations!!! (And yes, we'll be doing our cake cutting at our reception--- we're having Mickey and Minnie at the reception and we have Randy from 8:30-3:30 because every time Chris's mom is mean to me I make Chris ask her to pay for something else for the wedding. )

I really love the way your yellows look btw! It looks so cheery and bright.

I'm going to keep going for as long as I can. Charley was watching football, and now he's fallen asleep!! He won't be asking me every 5 mins "Are you writing a book in there?!" lol

Like I said.. our SURPRISE guests were about to arrive! Nobody knew that M&M were going to be there. We mentioned it several times to our family, but we told them that had been nixed from the beginning due to cost. We knew all along we would sacrifice whatever to have M&M be there. Even the reception!!

After the toast, Tanis came and made sure that it was still a surprise. We told her it definitely was!! So she announced that we had guests (I think she announced them!!). I just wish I had remembered to tell Randy to get shots of the guests when they walked in. They were in total shock!! My mom told me afterwards that her and my step-mom starting crying when they came out!! They were so excited!!!! I didn't even notice them until they were halfway down that aisle.

Of course they came to greet us first.

We took a couple of pics with them. Here's 1 I like.

We had to do our cake cutting, and we wanted them to help us. Of course Tanis explained the whole process of how to cut the cake to get the slice out perfectly and everything!! lol She really was awesome!!!

The whole cake cutting process is just awkward to me. Everyone standing there watching you feed each other. It's just strange!! But it's something you do, so we did!! lol

Cake guy got our piece ready to feed to each other. I really should've paid attention to his name... He was super nice and very discreet about everything he had to do. I guess as discreet as you can be when setting up a cake during a wedding ceremony! haha

We did our feeding!! (sounds like animals )

Had our magical cake kiss!! hahahaha

And got cleaned up

All in all.. the cake ceremony went pretty darn good!!

lol I've been meaning to add more pics to FB. It just takes forever to upload to all of these different sites. Everybody at work wants to see pics, and I have nothing to show them. I'm like.. "I swear we got married!! It IS for real!"

You notice the boning more in some pics than you do in others. Some you don't notice it at all. It's my fault. I should have paid more attention.

We absolutely loved our cake too!! It was more than we could've imagined. Randy even told us at the reception that he's never seen one decorated like that. So that was pretty nifty!! We were very surprised with the decor of the table!! It was beautiful!

If we had the longer reception, we would've done the cake cutting there as well. I would do it exactly the way you are. Especially getting her to pay for it!! hahaha I wish we would've gotten Randy for longer. I just didn't want to pay someone to take pics of us eating!! lol But it really doesn't take long to eat, does it? He had another wedding booked for that afternoon anyway. I'm not sure he would have had time even if I had asked.

I'm a big fan of yellow. I wear a lot of yellow!! Plus I really think black and yellow looks really good together.
