There is little information about this piano bar. Is there any food at all available with bar drinks?
They got rid of the popcorn too. No food now.I think all they have is popcorn. Eat before.
Just looked him up and I think you're right!Just as an aside,I always find it humorous that apparently Disney didn't do their research of the Bar's namesake,Jelly Roll Morton, and the meaning of his nickname!lol
Whaaaat? 1 week before my first visit? They got rid of the popcorn too. No food now.
From what I've been able to gather, that was a rumor started by a Site that is known for putting "news" out there just for clicks. It was rocking last weekend according to friends of ours.Is it still open? Thought it was supposed to close beginning of January
I definitely checked with the Disney Vacation Club and was assured that it is still open. However, it is difficult to find any information about it.Is it still open? Thought it was supposed to close beginning of January
Just to help reduce confusion. Yes it is still open but yes it will close to be converted into a Jazz Club style of venue later this year(2025) no Official or Unofficial date has been announced. Currently the venue is operated by a third-party but Disney will run the new Jazz offering. Is it still open? Thought it was supposed to close beginning of January
And I would think Disney will be unceremoniously "retiring" the name "Jellyrolls"!lolJust to help reduce confusion. Nothing screams being in the Disney Bubble like smoking Grass on the grass at BWI.lolWas just there on Thursday, they do have some food other than popcorn, but nothing substantial, just kettle chips and crackers, and of course the popcorn. Still a great time but we miss the pre-covid players.
I know it's only a rumor that it's closing, and the players deny it's happening, but I can see it. It used to be packed until about 1am every time we went, but there were a ton of empty tables by 10pm this week. Plus we left after a few groups just after midnight and they were being obnoxiously loud running around the Boardwalk, I felt bad for the people with the Boardwalk facing rooms. We ran into another group that left a bit before us hanging out on the village green smoking pot. So yeah, I can see Disney wanting to close it. Of the last 20 years of going there this was the worst behavior we saw from guests leaving late at night, although I'm sure it probably did happen at least occasionally before.
