We went to Destin one year during the month of September not knowing it was high time for jellyfish season. Won't make that mistake twice. But what about the Bahamas? Are there a bad influx of them at the end of September into October there?

Just went to castaway on Friday and didn’t see a single jellyfish. We vacation on 30A every year - in the summer and fall. Sometimes there are jellyfish, sometimes there aren’t. They don’t stop me from going into the ocean - on 30A or in the Bahamas.

They were so bad in Destin that September we went, it was unreal. Everywhere.

Were in St. Thomas 2 weeks ago and the jellies abounded everywhere. Mainly Moon Jellies and the little ones the size of a half dollar. Neither were the stinging variety.
