Jello 1-2-3 Recipe
In another thread, someone mentioned missed Jello 1-2-3. Found a recipe on the internet. I have never made it so I can't judge if the recipe works or if it tastes like the original.

MealMaster
MasterCook

3/4 cup boiling water
1 package Jello, any flavor (4 serving size)
1/2 cup cold water
Ice cubes
1/2 cup thawed Cool Whip

Pour boiling water into blender. Add Jello. Cover and blend at low speed until Jello is completely dissolved, about 30 seconds. Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 1 1/4 cups. Add to Jello and stir until ice is partially melted. Then add whipped topping; blend at high speed for 30 seconds. Pour into dessert glasses. Chill about 30 minutes. Dessert layers as it chills. Garnish as desired (lemon, orange or strawberry wedges, etc.)

Thank you! I book marked the page and I'll definitely make it first thing in the morning! :bounce: Boy I wish I had some right now! LOL!

Okay! I just made an orange sugar free, Cool Whip fat free concoction for dessert tonight and put it in the refrigerator! Let's see how this turns out! :p

I have to try it. I was a big Jello 1-2-3 fan as a kid.:D

We've had it a few times since that first adventure. Raspberry was great, orange was okay but seemed a little sweet. I'm trying lime next...

I just finished mine! I had a turkey burger, a salad and orange 1-2-3 jello for dessert! It's delicous! :bounce:

I used sugar free orange Jello and Cool Whip fat free and it came out great! The top layer was very thin, like maybe only a quarter of an inch "airy", then the rest was split evenly between the two layers. The second layer was airy and creamy, the bottom layer was creamy, jello like and coo/refreshingl! I love it! A nice low calorie, non-fat dessert! Yay! :bounce: Thank you again doxdogy and lynxstch!

Now I wish I had a chocolate covered strawberry to go along with it and it would be a perfect dessert. ;)

You are certainly most welcome. I am just glad to hear that it tasted good and that you enjoyed it.

The mixmaster had only two layers for me and the bottom layer was too weak a gel.

Tried the version on the box and the gel was stronger. Still only two layers.

Then i added crushed canned pineapple on the 3rd version this week. Delicious!!!!!!!
