Jell-o dishes?

What do you all use for individual jell-o servings? My mom used to use sundae dishes when we were kids, but those seem a little too fancy for the way we live. What do you use?

We use rice bowls. Or cereal bowls. Or whatever's clean...

ETA: From time to time, I serve dessert on my grandmother's special china, even with our hugely busy household. It's a special treat. So use those sundae cups!

LOL--we use the sundae cups. They aren't expensive so I don't worry about it. The kids think it's fun.

We buy Archer Farms yogurt from Target. This yogurt comes in little plastic tubs with snap on lids. We pour the jello in there and that way we can take it for lunch.

Plastic kid size bowls from IKEA. They come six in a pack for $1.99, each is a different color.

We use wine glasses and the water goblets that came with our wine glass set. Ours are heavy glass. A bit fancy but it makes the dessert look elegant and we never use them otherwise. The kids think it is super special. Now for my youngest I put hers in a short, plain glass.

I use a recipe that uses Knox unflavored with the Jello and make it in a shallow pan and then cut them into little blocks for my Granddaughter. She loves them. When my kids were little, I used to make it in the sundae dishes and when I would put them in the refrigerater I would prop them at and angle so they would gel at a slant. Then I'd top them with another kind of jello, cool whip, fruit or something. Kids thought it was wonderful!!!! Hadn't thought about that in a long time!

I use pyrex custard cups. I pour the jello right into the cups. When I make cut-class pie I also have a set of fire king custard cups that I'll use to serve the extras.

Reuse applesauce containers and/or yogurt cups usually. (I set them in a round cake pan while they set.)

I do serve icecream in our crystal wine glasses and our irish coffe cups - the boys love it. (Who cares if it gets broken - it's meant to be enjoyed.)

Aw, what wonderful ways of showing your love with jello! :lovestruc

That's what we do too. I use the 1/2 cup size with lids. That way they can be eaten at home or on the road.

In addition to the above, I have found great little plastic containers in the Dollar Store (several to a package) with lids..:)

I love to use my bunt cake pans and mix plain jello then mixed with ice cream or coolwhip then plain etc:wizard:
