What do you get to confirm your registration for Jedi Training?

Do they scan magic band or give you a return ticket, is there a sign up sheet with name / age or what?

On our trip my sister will be there in the morning and will sign her two daughters up. She thinks there is a chance one of them won't want to do it once she sees what it is. Would another kid in our party be able to take her place if this happens? Not all of the kids will be there in the morning to sign up, so that's why they won't all be signed up.

Thanks

When we went in 2017 it was still paper sign up by name. But they have made everything so digital now, not sure if that info is still current.

Every child that wants to participate needs to be there to sign up. There's no switching if spots unless when you go there's still spots available or you let the cm know that a child's that had signed up doesn't want to do it and see if there's a spot left
They have a standby list so people that wish to join but get there late still have a chance to do it if kids bail out or don't show

Thank you for the info on the process. My kids will be doing it the day before, but it will be everyone in the group's first time with the attraction.

I was just curious if one of her daughters changed her mind, could she give the paper ticket (or whatever it is they do to confirm) to one of the other kids in our group. Basically, is the registration tied to a specific kid or not?

Yes, it's under the child's name
Just to add the cm talks to the kids when they are signing up to make sure they are of age and temperament to do the activity, which is why they can't switch without the cms knowledge and approval

Ok thanks. And then the parents are given something to confirm registration or is it tied to magic band?

Nor sure if it's handled the same way now, but from what i know it's just the name and when you go back to your scheduled time you just tell them the child's name to check in

Thanks. Everything will be a mad rush on those early HS mornings, so just want to make sure we do it right and don't miss anything we'll need at return.

If memory serves, the kids scanned their MBs the last time we did it in July. As PP mentioned, they children are "interviewed" prior to sign up to make sure they are able to participate (can follow directions, etc.). They also have waiting lists. I think the best you can do, if one of the children who signed up no longer wants to do it, is talk to a CM when you check-in for your time slot and see if they will let you swap the kids.
