Hey guys,
I know the Jedi training has been talked about a lot, but I have a couple of question + an apology for you guys.

First: all you weather geeks, I'm sorry! It just started raining in Altamonte Springs about 30 north of Disney. I know I was a little cocky about it "not raining" on another thread, but it looks like it will rain this weekend.

2. My Ds will be 4 on the 18th of this month. We are planning to go to Jedi training. Is there any was to request Vader if you are asking politely? Seventh sister cool, but he does like vader.

Disclaimer: I haven't done JTA at HS since 2014. I did just do it at Land two months ago.

Edited to add: Nevermind. Vader and the Seventh Sister switch at Disneyland for some weird reason (about halfway through the line.) I just watched the video for World and it's more predictable. Definitely nice. I do prefer Disneyland's huge stage, but I like control a TAD bit more ;)

When the younglings get "attacked" they all just rush into two lines. There's really no way to stop and ensure any one kid is in any one line. It's pretty hectic for a moment when this happens. If your little one is like my little one and is slower to run to line, just try to get him to go to the bottom line since Darth Vader will switch to the bottom halfway through the show and those at the end of the line will fight him.

Just my two cents!

With the new Jedi Training, as well as the old JTA, kids are placed in specific lines for the the show. One group will be on the bottom level with 7th Sister and one group will be on the upper level fighting Vader.

The kids are assigned to their lines when they arrive at the check-in spot. That would be the time for your child to request a specific line. It will depend on the CM if your child is moved.

At check-in, have the child stand on a blue dot closest to the walkway (away from the building).

I can't say that it is the same all the time, but every time I've seen them line up, the line closer to the walkway got Vader.

Thanks for this information...I had no idea that some kids got to fight Vader and some with 7th Sister...I will try to get my 4 year old in the Vader line, but prepare him for the possibility that it might not be Vader!
