I have twin 6 year old grandkids that I want to sign up for JTA. We have 8am reservations at Disney Jr. Plan 'n Dine Breakfast at H&V.

Another post said:

(We entered early for JTA signup) We proceeded toward the signup area near Indiana Jones. They were holding the line in front of 50s Prime Time. At 8:34 they started leading the line to sign ups.

The post also said:

You'll be allowed to sign up for JTA before you enter H&V for breakfast.

With an 8am reservation, will I be able to signup for JTA before going to breakfast?

If not, how do I best position ourselves for signup so we can get a preferred time? Can I walk up to Indiana Jones before they show up with the rope line at the 50's Prime Time?

Also, where exactly do they do the signup, at the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular? If so, where there?

Thanks!

Have a great trip!

My understanding of recent practice is you are allowed to sign up before your pre-park opening breakfast. I believe the sign ups are very close to H&V. As long as they keep allowing these early sign-ups, you should have no problem.

Are they still allowing the sign up before breakfast? We have an 8 am ressie for tomorrow.

The queue is to the left of the Indian Jones attraction. We entered the park at 8:30 (9:00 park opening). Our queue was 45+ minutes. First available time was 12:10. The posted time for the queue got as high as 120 minutes. It was the longest line we waited in for our eight day trip. But, so worth it!

Good luck! :-)

You got there at rope drop and it was a 45 min wait to sign up? Oh man :( I didn't realize this had become such s difficult thing to do!

We got to HS at 8:30am and the line was already 100 people long. If your ADR is only for the purpose of JTA, then skip it and just plan to be waiting at the gates at 8am instead and be first online for signing up. We were still able to get a noontime JTA but would have preferred earlier.

I'd skip ADR or schedule for later if it's a must. Go to sign up first - Plenty of CM on hand to direct you to the sign up location. In Feb. we got there 15 mins after rope drop and received a 12:xx time slot. Of course it conflicted with a FP time, but the CM was great and offered us the next time slot. Have fun! Don't forget to get the photo pass card from the photographer, those were some of the best pictures taken!!

We had an 8 am reservation on Sunday. We were the third group to sign up (instead of first because, despite knowing where it was, I followed the arrow pointing the wrong way). We had our pick of the day. And made it in plenty of time to check in.

Other parents were asking what we were doing, and then they signed up and were back in minutes. So, in my limited experience, the PPO breakfast saved you time, and you could still enjoy your breakfast.

Do I understand this correctly, that if you're among the first, you can pick which time slot you want? Or do he CM's assign you one, and begin with the earliest slots? Anybody know?

We have a H&V PPO ADR, and I'm hoping to be able to sign up before we eat, did anyone have an experience NOT being allowed to sign up while inside the park early for an ADR?

We were at sign ups early on 5/23 and just picked the one we wanted. My understanding is that you can choose from any available openings regardless of when you sign up.

As PP said, YES, you can choose from any available open shows. Obviously, the sooner you sign up, you will have more shows to choose from. Thus, the answer to your second question is, NO, the CMs do not fill the shows starting with the earliest.

Yes, were at HS on June 10th, with 8am ADR for H&V. We were able to sign up for JTA upon entering the park around 7:50a, before sitting for breakfast at H&V. Worked out perfectly, because my daughters were in the first show as we hoped. Hope this helps.

Does your magic band show your pre park opening ADR?
Although unethical can you just make reservation for 2 and just eat the 10 dollar no show fee?
Thanks

1. No.
2. Yes. (That would be a $10, per person fee.)

If it's an EMH morning, what is the recommended time to arrive at HS to sign up? Also, will they let us in early to sign up and what are people's experiences with waits on EMH morning vs a 9am opening

On June 5, we got to the park around 8:30 or so, I went way to the left like I had read. They did not let our group in early but everyone in and then held them on the street for rope drop, a bunch of us went around the rope drop crowd following the JTA sign ups signs. Go past 50's PT and past a gift shop on the left, the sign ups are back there on the left. I waited 45 minutes in line. The line wrapped around in the woods a little by the Indiana Jones Stunt show. By the time I got up to sign up the 12:40pm show was the earliest show but that was fine with me since there was a big rain threat for later in the day. It was hotter than the surface of the sun that afternoon but a great event and the highlight of our trip. They were VERY easy about scheduling a time that fit ADRs and FPs.

@Jrits did you ever get an answer? I'm wondering the same thing! I'll be there in July on an EMH days, and I don't have EMH... these 45 minute waits have me concerned!
