As much as it pains me to say this, I think last year's deleted gift thread marked the end of her threads. Apparently, the Bah-humbugs attacked her and raised such a stink that she had the thread closed and didn't sound too willing to do any more. I hope I am wrong. In the past, threads would pop-up asking when the exchange was coming and she would respond or alert us when to look for them. This year, she has been conspicuously absent and silent on this.

I think that was 2007, and she still posted last year.

There are links to several of her old threads, but not to the Cookie Monster one. I can't recall---was the stink regarding showing someone's picture with the sweater on, or was it the whole thread itself (and if so, why are the other ones still available?). Just wondering if anyone has a copy of the Cookie Monster post without the pictures? I have that picture imbedded into my mind so no need to see it again (although, I'd love to see it again!). I'd like to read it again---I can't remember what the gifts were (except the sweater, of course). I sure hope she posts on this years gifts, too.

I loved catching up on all of her old posts. I really hope she hasn't been turned off to the idea of sharing her Christmas "joy" with the rest of us!!

I am like the poster that said we do not even need to see the cookie monster sweater picture. That read headed kids expression is something I will never forget.

hee hee....I have the picture of the sweater. She asked that it not be used because of any issues with the kid's age, etc. Of course, there's always Photoshop and somebody could plaster Cookie Monster's face over the kid's.

Still want to read the story again---even without the picture. Does anyone have it? You can PM it to me The others were so good, but I'd really love to read last years again .
