Ok Disers...we are unexpectedly going to V&A next week. I don't have the right dressy black shoes so have to buy them at/near Disney since we arrive tomorrow.

We have our overpacked van 😉 so can go wherever, but where is the easiest place to get some shoes? DS? Don't want to venture too far!

Don’t have a clue, but hope you enjoy dinner!

Wow! What an amazing reservation to get. I went one time with a broken right wrist and they cut all my food for me.

Shoe options for dressy are limited at DS, there’s sperry, Melissa (best option but plastic type dress shoes), sanuk and havianna’s. There’s a nice outlet malls off I-4. Or maybe Amazon some to the hotel since it’s not til the end of the week.

You can't possibly fit a pair of shoes or shouldn't. Just make a pair of shoes out of duct tape :rotfl2:

I was disappointed at the DS offerings. I would do Amazon, but it would deliver during split stay switchover 😞 But I will check out the outlets! The mall mentioned is too far and I'm sure not stopping on Black Friday 😆
I would go barefoot before going to those outlets.

I probably wouldn't go to that outlet mall either--not this weekend. At this point, I would get on Target.com and search for dressy shoes and see who has what in store.

Normally, I'm not an advocate of wearing shoes from Target but you just need them for a few hours and, rarely, are dressy black shoes comfortable anyway.
Only problem with Target is that their online inventory tracker is not accurate, but you'll get a general idea and a Target should be fairly easy to get to and not too overwhelming.

We are eating at Boma next week so we will probably run to it on the way or after. I had bought some new shoes, but they have a wooden heel and would look hokie 😅

There is a shopping center with a Target, Ross, and Rack Room Shoes not far from AKL on Hwy192.

A close up view of the strip of stores next to Target. Looks like they have a TJ Maxx too. Granted, we are talking disposable fashion, but at least it’s at a disposable fashion price and you won’t be fighting the crowds at the mall.

There are NOT a lot of shoes for women @ DS. The only place not mentioned above is Tommy Bahamas. You might find a multi useful pair of metallic sandals there. At least some are showing up on their website.
