how is the japanese restaurant where they make the food in front of you?

Teppan Edo is the restaurant you're referring to and we've always had a great time there! The chefs are great, the food is tasty and the service is always very prompt.

The food and show are good, but nothing better than I have had at any other Japanese Restaurant. I thought it was a little more crowded (seats closer together) than others I have been. We will not go back, not because of a bad experience, but just because it is like something I can get in my own home town.

It's very much like Benihana, if you have one in your area. We like it; I feel like it's a "healthier" meal than other table service spots and it's entertaining. The food is always tasty and good service.

We went to Teppan Edo. We have never been to a similar place to this before, so this was a treat for us! Very entertaining and good food too!

We've been to Teppan Edo 3 times (most recently being a couple weeks ago) and love it every time! Definitely doing it next trip.

We also have had a very good experience there but enjoy the quiet of Tokyo Dining in the same building.........

We love Teppan Edo, it is a 'must' for every trip, and as a matter of fact we will be having dinner there on Wednesday, which will be our first day back at the World!

The service, the atmosphere, and the food have all been wonderful each time. We especially love the filet mignon. Enjoy!

Teppan Edo is one our favorites as our little ones really enjoy the Chefs and the food. They love to watch the Chefs preparing food in front of them and interacting with them. And...the food is tasty and healthy!

I wouldn't recommend doing a walkup during the free dining promotion. You will need ADR's for either lunch or dinner. We had a lunch adr for 2PM and we had to wait 1/2 hour to be seated, even at off dining times. We go for the fun.

We love Teppan Edo. It was our favorite of the last trip and will be going back for sure this trip. We have a ressie! I think you NEED one or else you may be out of luck.

If you have never seen the show its worth going once.

We skip it having lived in Japan in the past( & going back next year for another 2-3 years) and we know it isn't really Japanese cuisine.

food is decent however but nothing spectacular or all that unusual. Any 'Japanese' style restaurant in your home town will serve the same stuff.

sometimes the ambiance is just as important as the food.
