January/ yea aor nay?

We are planning a trip to the World but are being rather flexible. Because dd and I are both in school it looks like it would be easier on us school work wise to go some time in January/early Feb. What have your experiences been weather wise? We braved the bitter cold last Dec. and would rather it is a little warmer. BUT, it would be very hard to wait for a later time due to my school work, finals etc. Thanks for any help!!

We have been 3 times in January and the weather is like up hee in New England.....you never know. We have had 30 degree days and 80 degree days. When we went last Dec/Jan it was gorgeous, but people that were there earlier in Dec said it ws downright cold! I would not however let that stop me, as the crowds are more manageable and it is Disney after all! You seem to forget about the cold, well maybe not on Splash Mountain or Kahli River Rapids!

thanks winnedapooh! looks like we will try to book for late Jan/early Feb. Maybe I will get lucky and have some of those 80 degree days We were there during the bitter cold in Dec. last year. I heard the week after we left the temps went up and it was great. It will also be a good way to lift our spirits after the holidays. Jan always seems so long and boring to us after the holiday excitement.

We've been twice in January (the week of New Years) and like winnedapooh said, you just never know. January this year the week of New Years - 04 it was in the low to mid 80's!!! Very nice and thats probably why the parks were SO crowded. Last January (1st week) in 03 the weather was 80 the first day and dropped the next day lows in the 40's and highs around mid 60's which was nice, but definately not 80!!! It's a mixed bag and my only suggestion is take clothes for both. Any time after New Years week is great crowd wise in January. Have a wonderful time!!!

We were there this past Jan it was pretty chilly in the mornings and at night. But we had a blast! We wore jeans and a t shirt with a sweat shirt over and would shed the top layer around 10:30. better than 100 degress if you ask me. even rode the water rides!!
