I've been stalking the calendar and hours for mid January to see the Fantasmic and WOC showtimes but I'm not seeing them at all listed even on the weekends - ??? Any ideas or thoughts??
Disneyland is very slow to release entertainment schedules, so just give it time. Based on dining reservations, it does appear WOC will be showing nightly in January. Fantasmic is unclear and it's possible it may not be shown the weekends of 1/13 or 1/20, but it remains to be seen.I've been stalking the calendar and hours for mid January to see the Fantasmic and WOC showtimes but I'm not seeing them at all listed even on the weekends - ??? OP did you find anything conclusive out?I've been stalking the calendar and hours for mid January to see the Fantasmic and WOC showtimes but I'm not seeing them at all listed even on the weekends - ??? Any ideas or thoughts??
I’ll be there on the 20th as well and the weather should be good but there is nothing scheduled.I am interested in finding out about Fantasmic the weekend of the 20th as well. I am assuming there is only the Mix Magic for Fireworks, but since I have never gotten a chance to see Fantasmic at Disneyland, I was hoping they may be showing it. If you find out anything, please let us know asap. thanks.
I get cancelling for weather but it should at least be on the calendar for that busy a weekend. If it's not on the calendar by now, it's unlikely to happen. Based on the rainy forecast for MLK weekend, a lot of nighttime entertainment might get cancelled anyway.
Fantasmic is on the calendar for the weekend of Jan. 27, and has been for some time. I'm certain there will be no Fantasmic, even on weekends, until the 27thIf it's not on the calendar by now, it's unlikely to happen. I saw that as well.Fantasmic is on the calendar for the weekend of Jan. 27, and has been for some time. I'm certain there will be no Fantasmic, even on weekends, until the 27th(Except for today and tomorrow of course!)
I too will be there the 20th and I'm pretty bummed.
MLK weekend has Mickey's Mix Magic with fireworks scheduled Friday, Saturday and Sunday (13, 14, 15).I saw that as well.
I find it perplexing that MLK day doesn’t have fireworks or fantasmic scheduled.
Hopefully crowds will be even lower than they normally are in January with the park hours being so poor and no nighttime spectaculars (projection shows don’t count)
I saw that - unfortunately my first day in park is the Monday. I would have thought that MLK day would have warranted adding a showtime. I guess not.MLK weekend has Mickey's Mix Magic with fireworks scheduled Friday, Saturday and Sunday (13, 14, 15).
I saw somewhere speculation for No fantasmic those two Jan weekends and since it’s scheduled started end of Jan I think it’s correct unfortunately![]()
I agree - it's surprising.I saw that - unfortunately my first day in park is the Monday. I would have thought that MLK day would have warranted adding a showtime. I guess not.
Oh well - more time to go on Indiana Jones Adventure… Right?
Too bad - I normally go Jan-Feb and have never experienced having no nighttime spectaculars on back to back weekends…
They haven’t done full fireworks on MLK Monday in years. The park also usually closes at the time it does during a Monday off season and isn’t open late.I saw that - unfortunately my first day in park is the Monday. Interesting. I don’t recall that. They haven’t done full fireworks on MLK Monday in years. The park also usually closes at the time it does during a Monday off season and isn’t open late.
It’s just depends on the holiday and time of year. MLK is the only one I can think of. Usually president’s day falls with ski week which is a busy week at the parks and leads to more evening entertainment options and extended hours and same with Columbus Day. Veterans Day is usually also after holiday season starts.Interesting. I don’t recall that.
Is it standard for non weekend holidays to be treated as regular days now? Minus the obvious ones, of course..
It’s not been on the schedule for a long time. I don’t think it has anything to do with the weather. If it's not on the calendar by now, it's unlikely to happen. Based on the rainy forecast for MLK weekend, a lot of nighttime entertainment might get cancelled anyway.
I agree. My point was that even if it had been on the schedule, the possibility exists that it may have ended up being cancelled anyway. Fantasmic is definitely not on the schedule for the next two weekends, regardless of weather. It’s not been on the schedule for a long time. I don’t think it has anything to do with the weather.
