January Reservations Wanted

I know that this is a long shot, but here is goes....

I'd like fort wilderness campground reservations for Jan 2-7th. I've been calling everyday for the past two weeks hopeing that someone will cancel, so far, no luck.

So...I'm askng that if anyone is going on those dates and find that they will be unable to make it, please let me know.

In two hour I will be cancelling my res. for Jan. 2-12 I hope you get my dates.
the time stamp on this site is 1 hr. earlyer than it is so you can judge to call.

Stillh2o, I'm sorry you have to cancel. Hopefully it is because you won the lottery and are planning something tremendous!

Ohhh...how I hope I can....I just got off the phone with reservations....I'll try again a lil later.

Have read many times that cancellations are not put back into the system until the the system is reset for the following day. That is why everybody says to call at 7:00AM when reservations open up.

This is also what I have been told by CMs.

I spoke to a reservation agent today and yesturday, they both said the reservations come up immediately if they are room only.

If they are part of a package they usually get held until morning.

Well, no luck. Someone else must have grabbed the reservation because I didn't get it.

UPDATE

We now have a reservation for January 2, 3, and 4th. We have to keep calling back for the 5th & 6th.

I just checked on-line and the 5th wasn't showing available but the 6th was showing a prefered site, not sure what you have right now, but I wanted to let you know just in case you wanted to book the 6th as a separate ressie until you can get the 5th.

Thank you for all of your help. We got a campsite today for January 2nd through 7th now!! Now we dont' have to worry about split reservations or being moved!
