We are trying to go to DL during a school vacation. We can either go right after New Year's Day - Jan. 3 to Jan. 7, or during the last week of March. Does anybody have any experience with crowds during those times of year? Thanks.

I hear right after the holidays is a very good time to go.

I have never been to DLR at either of these times but I would assume that March would be crazy busy  with spring break. I don't know about the LA/Anaheim area but here our kids go back to school on Jan 2nd so the January trip might be less crowded. Hope you enjoy your trip :thumbsup2 .

You've got that right...park hours are longer but the crowds make it frustrating...I would say go in January because its right after the holidays and everybody is going back to school plus you still get the NBC and IASW holiday overlay...

FYI some schools here in So. Cal are off that week. So it won't be as crowded as most are back in school (out of state),but my friends and I plan Disneyland field trips for our kids that week..

January... we've had some great experiences going in January before.

I vote for January. We went Jan 2005 and 2006 and it was perfect. March will be busy most likely.
