January free park hopper

We went this past Feb. and got the free park hopper upgrade. I had already booked through AAA without the park hopper because I thought we could do without it. When I saw it advertised, I just called my AAA agent and she contacted Disney and added it on. It was nice because we took the kids to Disney Quest which we would not have paid to do. We are looking to go this Feb. again, and will probably book the same way. If the upgrade is offered that would be great, if not thats okay too. We will just see what happens.

Did you lose the AAA discount when she added the code?

i am going in Jan 08. I have already added the water parks and more hopper to my package. If the code comes out will disney add it to my package and remburse me or should i drop my tickets back to basic tickets and hope for a discount later?

Disney won't add it themselves, you have to call them with the code and have them apply it. I'm not sure about the method of how they reimburse you, though...anyone?

No we did not lose the discount. I don't have the information handy, but for some reason I think we saved another $20.00 or something like that. Because we don't always park hop, I did not want to pay for it when I booked, so it was great when it was added on for free. The AAA agent just called and had it added. Hope this helps.

If I have a one night reservation at a Disney hotel and this upgraded ticket promo comes out can I qualify to get 7 day tickets with the free upgrade if I only have a 1 night room ressie?

In the past, it has been a minimum 3 night stay.

I assume you were able to add the non-expiring after you arrive? If so, like another poster asked, are you able to add on a ticket longer than your stay? I'm only staying 3 nights but planned on buying a 10 day non-expire to carry over to our annual Summer trip.

Are you referring to the ticket upgrade promotion they have offered in the past? If so, I had participated in another thread several months ago about this. If they do things the same way as last year, you were able to purchase base tickets for as many days as you wanted, they would become Park hoppers and Water parks & More tickets, and during your stay you could add the non-expiring. So basically, you would pay for base non-expiring tickets, and get the park hopper and water parks and more features free.

We stayed under that promo this past January. I was able to upgrade my ticket to an AP, and the value of the ticket as with PH and WP was counted, so the upgrade only cost me $137 - saving me about $100.

My mom was traveling with me and upgraded to a 10d NE , so now she has 5 day park hoppers plus 6 water park admissions left.

It is hardly the greatest discount they offer, and I don't normally hop andwouldn't have gone to the WP in January (was looking to buy mittens the week we were there!), but I was happy to apply it to my upgrade. We split the stay and got an AP rate at AKL for the rest of the week, so that was great!
