January Fireworks??

Ok so I have reached the time to book our dining and we always watch the fireworks while enjoying Cali Grill and Narcoossee's. I booked us for 9 but it looks like the fireworks are at 8... is that true? I thought that when we were there last January they were still at 10. Please help! I promised my parents fireworks but this may not be the case...

Fireworks in January are normally earlier - the parks close earlier most nights. We often go in January and I can't recall any 10 PM fireworks, except maybe a Saturday night with 2 Spectros and I can't even remember that happening in January.

We have done 10 January vacations and I don't ever remember 10pm fireworks at MK. The parks definitely close earlier; I'm thinking 8pm or even 7pm was normal closing time at MK. Epcot stays at 9pm and I remember that usually MK fireworks were earlier than Epcot's.

Thank you!! I am going to change my ADRs. I think that the nights watched the fireworks were actually in December and then New Year's.... so of course they were late. I don't know what I would do without the DisBoards.

I was looking at the calendar for the first week of January and noticed that the closing time was 8:00 PM during the week and later on the weekends especially if it was an EMH night. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/ca...ly_endDate=20110109&asmbly_startDate=20101231

I remember when we stayed at BLT the end of February and into the first week of March, the fireworks were fairly early around 8:00 PM. You might want to move your reservation up to 8:00 PM if you are dining during the week.
