January Exercise Challenge!

Wow, I wish I had checked out these threads earlier - this is such a great idea. I am doing the WDW Marathon and love the idea of starting of 2013 with 2013 minutes.

65 min run/walk Had to use the dreadmill since there was patchy ice on my outdoor route. To close to tinkerbell to slip on the ice. :scared1:

I'm in for 2013 as well. I'm BACK, and VERY GLAD y'all have kept this up! Sorry I bailed for a LONG while. Details when I update my journal.

I'm not using the bodybugg anymore - got tired of paying for the service - , so not sure I'll meet the goal, but sure gonna try!

Goldcupmom look into the fitbit their website is free. They do have a personal trainer that you can pay for but you don't have to. I used to use a bodybugg and quit becasue of the cost. I now have a fitbit and LOVE it. Much smaller that the bodybugg to.
 

Just finished an evening walk. I wanted to make it 60 min, but the sun went down quicker than expected and it got cold fast!

Just did my first consecutive no-walk breaks run since November. Yippee!!! (on the otherhand, my sports doc said my quad looks "mushy" and is still not happy w my knee progress.... After 2 years.... Wants to see a new MRI. Grrrr. )

I just have to say kudos to you and all you morning exercise people. Its all I can do to get me and ds out the door in time each day. I'm such a night owl.
 
Wow! Everyone is kicking butt already!:cool1:

My first day of 2013 moving my butt resulted in a 41 minute walk and a 75 minute yoga class. So let's start off with 116/1300. Here we go!!:thumbsup2

Hey there, can you please add me to this list of participants with a goal of 1200 minutes?

Yesterday, I went to the gym and did 35 minutes on the elliptical and 60 minutes on the treadmill.

First total: 95/1200
 
I have 130/1300 minutes in so far. We did a 5k on New Year's Day and I went to the Y this morning for time on a bike and the elliptical. :)
