I know Martin Luther King weekend is bad, but when does everyone go home? Are they gone by the 19th? Are weekends that are not holiday weekends in January crowded? Only going to be there 4 full days, want to make the best of it! Hope the crowds will be low!

We were there over the MLK Holiday last year and didn't consider it busy, but then again we were following plans from Tour Guide Mike and we never saw a crowd.

This year we'll be there from 1/6 to 1/20 so we'll have the time to take weather into consideration. We think January is a great time to be at WDW, but don't tell anyone, that will ruin it!

MLK weekend is not 'busy' - it is busier than other times of that slow period between New Year's Day and President's Week, but compared to other times of the year, it's not busy. This past year, the heaviest crowds were the Saturday of that weekend. We still did not have any trouble doing everything we wanted to do (which was pretty much everything). Get there early and use fastpasses wisely and you'll have no problem. Crowds outside of that Saturday were non-existent.
