We are headed to Disney this January 4th to the 10th. I realize we are going to encounter some marathon days, (and perhaps some lingering New Year's Day issues) but we have family from out of town, and this is the only time we could visit Disney.
Any thoughts on crowd size?
Any suggestions on how we can tweak the trip to have the best time ever?
We are not new to Disney, and we are planning to get MPLL.
We are also planning to utilize early entry and after hours at the parks
Thank you for any suggestions.

Don't make important plans the mornings of at least the half and full marathons. Transportation will definitely be impacted depending on which parks you are attending. Best advice is to attend parks you can visit without bus or car service on those mornings.

Thanks. Our last day for parks will be January 9th, and we can take the boat to Magic Kingdom.

Hi @cruising spud . If your only park day is Jan 9 you should be ok. That is the 5k. It should be over and roads open by the time parks open. I think your crowds should be fairly good except for that first day. The runners will mostly be hitting the expo on wed and then saving their legs on Thursday.

Thanks for the input. :)

We were there from the 4th - 8th this year (checking my son in for the DCP), and the crowds weren't bad. We did use LL's and managed to do everything.
