January 4, 2014 Fantasy, Trust, and Pixie Dust!

So excited! One of my best friends who is also a single mom will be joining us! Her daughter will be 3 and a half.

Cat V wait list came through! Yeah it's crazy but I've got about 8 months to save up, I'm only paying for 2, this is way cheaper than our 2 week Hawaii cruise, and who knows when I'll travel across country to get on a new Disney ship during an off season time again? Ok maybe after this I'll be dying to do it again, lol. So excited! ;)

Can you explain what a Cat V wait list is? I'm so confused with all these anagrams, initials, categories!:confused3

The concierge categories on the Dream and Fantasy are categories V, T, and R. V is the least expensive. The V is just one room like a cat 4 verandah cabin. The T and the R are considered suites. they have separate bedrooms in them. You can check the DCL website for more info.

The other categories are inside, oceanview, and verandah (balcony) categories.

Congrats on getting that cat v... I'm sure you'll love it.

Welcome to any new comers :-D

Feels like a Friday to me.. I actually have a day off tomorrow! Yay, yay yay.... Room decoration project commencing next Friday!!! I already have a few supplies. Now I just need to figure out where to store all this stuff for 11 months.

Anyone else think the time is already going quickly??

Yes! Especially now that I have to pay up 120 days out to book anything. It will be here soon!

Where are you all thinking of staying at WDW? I'm going to rent a transportation service instead of taking DCL's transportation. I'm also going to get a day room at the Hyatt when we disembark because the airline I use doesn't have a flight home earlier than 5:30pm. I am planning so far out, lol!

I am planning so far out too because I really don't have anything to plan in between! I haven't looked too much into wdw hotels but I am thinking a value resort maybe the art of animation!!! It will depend on the deals that they have going on when we book... I not sure which will be more cost effective... Buy a park hopper or upgrade my premium Disneyland ap to a premier.. I will decide on that once we decide how many days we will be at wdw.

I'm thinking about the premier too. Are you on the monthly payment plan? Is it true that we can just pay the diff for the premier and still stay on the payment plan for the premium?

We took a Fantasy Eastern Carribean cruise a couple weeks ago and loved the ship so much we booked this cruise!! (Had been on the classic ships several times, first time on the Dream Class). I have done a quick scan for FE information on this and noticed a bit. How is this being handled?? On our last cruise we had a Facebook group set up as well as someone had made a google doc that we could enter our information into. Made it super easy to keep track of, and then created an even easier list since our FE groups were split. Is there anything like this set up for this cruise? If not I think I still have access to the one used for our last group that I could copy over and we could use (not stepping on anyones toes if they have already volunteered :))

Hi. I don't know how other people feel but I'm ok with a FB group. I find them helpful for cruise meets.

:welcome: zacaronius

On the last two cruises (Fantasy Eastern) I've been on, we had a FB group for both. Still post and keep up with people on one of them party:

::yes:: I agree with luv2sleep :thumbsup2

Since it seems that there is interest in having a facebook group, I went ahead and created one. I kept it a closed group, that way only members can see posts etc. (might be a little more private in terms of stateroom number information etc.)

https://www.facebook.com/groups/337544743022863/

let me know if this link works and request to join the group!

:yay: The link worked for me. Waiting to be added to group. Thank you for creating the group!

Can whoever started the group copy and paste the FB link to the first page here? That way new people will always be able to find it.
