Laura, we are soooooo glad to hear your good news! Have a safe drive!

Just a week to go!!! We finally made a final decision as to where we will be staying Fri. night and it will be at the Radisson. So if people are still planning on meeting there at the pool that night we'll be there. We're not sure what time we'll get there, we might drive over to Downtown Disney and do some shopping before heading to the Radisson. We are really getting excited now!!! I'm starting to pull out more clothes and get things ready but probably won't actualy throw them in the suitcase until Thursday so they don't get as wrinkled. I am soooo glad I took Thursday off of work so that I'll be able to do all the last minute stuff before we leave bright and early Fri. morning. I'm going to try and get as much of the Christmas stuff put away before we leave so we don't have to come back to that and all the homework Rachel will have to make up.

Does anyone know if I'd still be able to order a basket from The Prfect Gift? I'd really like to surprise DD with something seeing how we aren't staying at the YC anymore because of their closing the waterslide and part of the pool; she was so disappointed at that. Anybody have any ideas on a basket for an 8 year old girl?? I'll have to give them a call in the morning.

Lisa.....I still have to shop for our "drugs" as well....I know I will drop quite a fortune at that. I have used the Whisk tables before and they work great!!! I am packing some as well.

Cheryl.....glad to hear you will be staying at the Radisson....I think we may be spending the day now at one of the WDW parks. Hubby and the boys might go to straight to the Radisson and the girls and I might to do the parks (we will have two rental cars for our immediate group of 8).

Laura.....thank God everything worked out for the best and you and the family will be able to cruise. It truly is good news!!!

Yesterday I took down and packed away all the Christmas decorations!!!! I had to do it though I felt like the Grinch....it actually feels good now knowing I can concentrate on cruise packing. We picked out all of what hubby will be wearing...it amazes me that guys really don't care what they wear....I kept saying "how do you like this one" and I would get "Ok, I guess....it's a shirt" . Drives me crazy!!! AT least all I have to do with him is put the stuff in the suitcase...I am pretty sure I know what I am packing put have to sort the toiletries (sp)?? The girls have always packed for themselves and my son just need a bit of help...thank goodness they are all pretty self-sufficient!!!

You have good angels watching out for you. Happiest of New Years to you all. We look forward to meeting the members of this "extended family" now less than a week away.
If anyone is really having a difficult time finding sandals for their growing little ones, I live in Florida and would be happy to stop by the local Target/Walmart to pick them up. Remember that Ron Jon's is close to the Port and will have beachwear available.
I don't have a day off between Christmas and our departure on Friday afternoon, so I am doing everything at 5 am or after 7pm. I am counting the hours until we have nothing to do, but enjoy....

Sounds like it will be a fun time at the Radisson! I am a bit jealous, as we're staying at the Marriott by MCO, but we got a super Priceline deal. I am hoping that by this time in one week, I'll be relaxing in the spa as the ship sails away. Tony and are are having Happy Limo pick us up early so we should get to the port almost when it opens. We will either have castawayclub.com t-shirts or else Titanic shirts if Tony's sense of humor prevails. ONE WEEK, ONE WEEK, ONE WEEK!!!
I just love the Western itinerary...I think I'd have to do it four or five times just to do everything that I'd like to in port.

I saw some references to Mr Sanchos' beach in Cozumel, and after looking at it, I think it looks perfect for our family. I'm a little leery about doing something that DCL has not arranged tho. I understand that we can get a taxi very easily to the beach, but how about back again? Also, I think we will be skipping Carlos & Charlies since it's not the atmosphere I'm looking for for DD. Is the restaurant at Sanchos' decent food? I know we want to do some shopping as well - are there shops located near where we dock?

We have a personal guide for Key West - one of DS' friends is in the Coast Guard. I have no idea what to do in Grand Cayman, but Nicki's sounds really fun - do you have to book in advance? I really really want to do a submarine, DH & DS want to snorkel. As I said before - I hesitate to book anything in advance because we're not sure how Dani will be feeling that day.

We loved Mr. Sancho's! The food was really good too. Make sure to go to the website and get the coupon. We bought the entrance/drink package. I was nervous about the food because I don't like buffets that are outside. So, we just ordered from the menu.

The only thing that made our experience less than perfect was the sand. It was very course ~ actually it was ground up shells. But, we had swim shoes so it was fine for us. We bought a few gifts there since they have several vendors as you walk in (make sure to bargain). One last thing, there were several taxi's waiting at the entrance when we were ready to leave. You will have a great time. They even play games with the kids ~ while we were there they threw some water balloons in the pool for the kiddies.

Laura, you can book your own tickets at the submarine if Dani is up to going that day. When you take the tender in to shore, you just go about a block and a half to the right, and there is the Atlantis. You will also save money too by doing it this way. They do trips ever hour and a half, so you can pick the time that would work best.

Add Candy and her family to Raddisson get together. (that is if you are all around at 10:30- 11:00) I know this might be possible if we all chat in person as much as online.LOL

My family going with has changed. My 19 yr old Brian can't go and in place we switched his ressies with my little sister Kari. She is 17 years old. So this week will be spent scrambling around trying to get all of her paperwork done and find her dresses and such.

Joanna- Welcome back and I feel for you. A fall like that is what dissabled me. I hope you are feeling better. To this day I still must take a cushion with a notch cut out for the tailbone to sit in an airplane. At home I switch from cheek to cheek when I sit.

Candy...the pillow sounds like a GREAT idea. I am wondering how I will be able to take the long plane ride!

I still have SO much to do, it seems. I especially need to call the airline tomorrow and find out if there's any way we can carry on our dresses and tuxes. Last thing I want to hear is they lost my wedding dress!!!

Can it be only 6 days??? Man...I better get hustling!

What a huge party Friday night! The rest of us are so sad to miss it, but will be cheering you on as we board our plane!

For all of you Radissoners--don't forget the big on-ship hookup after the safety drill at the Promenade Lounge Saturday.

I bought a pack of 24 little bubble bottles for us to celebrate as we sail off. There are only 3 of us, which means 21 of our new friends (that's y'all) are welcome to the rest, so we can push off in style!!! I'll bring them to the Promenade Lounge.
