Not long now. :cool1::thumbsup2:cool1::thumbsup2

Anyone know if we have a formal night on this cruise please ?.

I am going to try and do, most of our packing in the next few days and need to know, whether DH needs a suit.

We couldn't wait any longer to tell the kids! We told them tonight and now DH and I are so much more excited. Here is a link to a fake boarding pass that I made to give them. Sorry, I don't have enough posts to put links up. Have to copy and paste.

Here is a printable version for this sailing that doesn't have a name on it.

For those that may not have received the email from DCL.
Magic is about to happen! Your Disney cruise is right on the horizon. To keep everything sailing smoothly, we thought you might like a quick checklist of all the things there are to do to make sure your dream cruise is as enchanting as possible.

Cruise To-Do's:
•Let us know your flight plans. Your Disney cruise will be sailing before you know it. If you already have your flights planned, it would be very helpful if you could share your air itinerary with us. It's easy to note all your flight details in our online Planning Center.
•Ground Transfers. They're the easiest, most convenient way to get you from the airport to your Disney ship. There's still time to book yours.

Packing for Paradise. Here are a few tips on things to bring. For more details, be sure to refer to the Planning Center.

Days
•Casual wear (shorts, slacks, sundresses, jeans)
•Comfortable shoes (sandals, sneakers, boat shoes)
•Beach and pool wear (swimsuits, wraps, t-shirts)

Evenings
•Don’t forget a jacket or sweater. Yes, it’s the tropics, but the nights can be a bit breezy.
•Nice dining attire (no swimwear, tank tops or shorts at dinner, please)
Optional formal attire
•Themed attire is welcome for Pirates IN The Caribbean night.

Include even more enchantment
Special surprises. Add an extra touch of magic to your voyage—from sweet treats and wonderful wines to delightful decorations and more.

Vista Spa & Salon. Include ultimate relaxation on your vacation. Schedule a session at our acclaimed spa...rated among the top 5 at sea by Condé Nast Traveler magazine readers.

Port Adventures. Explore the shore! Each adventure has been chosen by us to showcase the wonders in our ports of call. But favorites can fill up quickly. Book yours before you sail at the Planning Center.

We are doing a scavenger on Christmas Eve with the final clue a 100 piece puzzle - it should be interesting completing the puzzle without looking at the photo. I can not wait for them to know so I can make sure we have everything!

Anyone going to Atlantis via CS? We'll be heading there directly as early as possible.

Also, what do you think is needed to swim comfortably there, and at Castaway Cay?

I think this weather might get dicey (cold), so we're taking short wetsuits, but we've never cruised, or gone this time of year (we were at Atlantis in June, and the kids, and parents, loved it).

We're southerners, and the wife is from Nicaragua, so you know our definition of "cold" probably means "tepid" to a Canadian/northerner!:scared1::scared1:

I was a notherner for most of my life and I do not like water under 83°F

Well, you may not be able to see it clearly, but at the top right of the puzzle, it says to "Pack Your Bags." I have it out of the box, in a bag, put in a box wrapped. Our plan is to put it under the tree at the very back as the very last package for DD to open. What we need is a little quip or riddle that says something about putting the puzzle together to find the answer. Anyone good/creative with coming up with this sort of thing??? Ideas???

I'm not a poet, but here's an idea:

Chistmas Day is here at last! Here's one last gift for you.
Solve the puzzle to see what it says. There's something you need to do!

I'd go with Hailee's rhyme. That's pretty good.

For a photog to use words well, that's amazing.

:>)

Once you put these pieces together, lets hope for good weather.
This was part of a scavenger hunt poem that was on one of the boards.

I have been looking at www.holiday-weather.com for the past few weeks for Castaway Cay weather reports. It has been showing a lot of rain with the temperatures in the low 70's. Could this be accurate? I usually only pack 1 pair of pants and have NEVER wore them. I do not want to over pack but I do not want to purchase clothes because I was not prepared.
Anu suggestions on how to find out?

I like to use wunderground.com and go to the interactive map; click the temps and zoom in, it even has temps as bouys in the sea. It has been chilly--50's at night in Nassau, some high 60's even during the day with the cold front that came, and another on the way.

The usual is around mid-70's but they get some of the same fronts the eastern US/South does.
