January 3, 2008 3 Night Wonder

We are so excited. This will be our first cruise, doing the 3 night just to see if we like cruising or not. Family consists of myself, DW, and 2 DS's ages 17 and 13. Will there be any other DIS'ers joining us? I hope so.

We did the 3 day before to try it out and we loved it! You will too. We are going on this one to decompress for a few days after the holidays. We have a DS who will be 14 and DD 19.

We are booked on the August 2008 PC repo. Cruise and decided there were just too many days between July 2007 and August 2008. So we have tentatively booked the January 3, 2008 3-day Wonder.

We cruised on the Wonder last year on the same first week in January and absolutely loved it.

Planning on making the trip will be 3 of the 4 Boons. Two old folks, ok I’m old while DW is still young and beautiful , along with DD13.

We met some wonderful people last year on the Wonder and look forward to making many new friends on this cruise.

hello! We just rescheduled a planned 4-night Thanksgiving 2007 cruise to the 1/3/08 3-day, for family reasons. We will have myself, DH, and DD 13 (it was going to be a birthday surprise for DD turning 13 on 11/24, so now will be a Christmas surprise instead.

4boons, since you've done this one before, any special info/insights to share? Does your DD 13 like the teen club?

DD13 was not a teen when we went last year. however, DD21 loved the teen prog. when she was going.

I'm sure DW (Laura) will have insights she will be willing to share.

I was hoping there might still be some holiday decorations on the ship, but I read on another thread that all the decorations are gone by then. Still, it will be a nice getaway after the holiday hubbub.

We will be at HHI Dec 30 & 31, then VBR Jan 1 & 2, going to the space center on the 2nd.

Thank you! Let me talk to DH -- we were thinking of trying to keep it a secret from her until Christmas. It was originally going to be a surprise for her November birthday, so she does not know anything about it yet.
