Ok - another Poll!

What day does everyone START their vacation - meaning they leave home!

My date is Wednesday January 26th - its only to Buffalo to stay overnight in a hotel - but its still our official start!

what day do people end their vacation - meaning they day they arrive at home?

for us is Tuesday February 8th - should be home in mid afternoon!

You all were very busy during my flight to Boston!!! So bummed I wasn't there when the 2000th post went up Guess I will have to help up-the-count for 3000!

So, my DD was 7lbs 9oz and completely natural - not because I wanted it to be though.

Three things I am looking forward to:
1. Someone else deciding what is for dinner
2. Someone else cooking dinner
3. Someone else bringing dinner to the table and cleaning up afterwards

We will start 1/29 at around 8ish when we leave home for the port. We will get home 2/5 ... Probably around 10 if we don't stop. Then we need to start unpacking and rest up for a concert that night!

OK, forgot to mention Palo night - for us it is Wednesday at 8 or 8:30 (I can't remember exactly what time right now)

Our vacation starts on Friday, we are flying to Orlando and staying at the Residence Inn close to the port. Unfortunately, our vacation ends when we get off the ship...back to STL we go! I did take Monday 2/7 off from work, as DD and I usually do take the day after Superbowl off.

I think he is about 5 foot 1. I am 5 10 so he has some tall genes in him!

See there we go almost the same size too...I am 5 feet.....all my kids are taller or getting taller than me....

I started packing today but will be moving things around and re-packing before we leave. Our biggest bag was at the 50lb mark, so I'll need to switch lighter things from our smaller bag with heavier things from our bigger bag. We are trying to get by with 2 bags, just so we don't have too much to lug through the airport.

Offical start to our holiday is Thursday with Dinner and Brad Paisley concert. After that off to Buffalo on Friday morning to catch our flight late afternoon.

Returning Sat night as dh is working the nightshift on Sunday and will have to get some sleep before that.

We are flying into Orlando on Thursday the 27th and our vacation sadly ends on Feb. 5.

So Cassie what do you do for a living that you travel?

Don't want to put where I work on the boards - work has pretty strong policies against such behavior

I am a liaison between my organization and the US Treasury and my job is to make sure all of our locations provide good service. January is a busy planning month for us so we do a lot of meetings face-to-face, and since I work with 6 different locations throughout the US, I get to go see them. I don't know why they don't want to come to St. Louis in January

I got the 1:30 time thank god cuz now it is sold out...speaking of did/is anyone doing the online check that they do 36 hrs before? I was thinking of doing it for the way home so I dont have to worry while we are in CC. Sorry those flying with Southwest.
