January 29, 2011 - 7 Day Eastern - WOOHOO!!

our posts are really getting up there in numbers so I think I will change my prediction to 3,067 anyone else ?:confused3

See that is why Palo's doesn't interest me either. I don't eat goat cheese and other stuff I hear other people comment on.

I am sure the ones that are going will love it, it is a nice romantic kind of thing too with out the kids. I am sure I will be doing that in the dining room some nights that the kids want to stay in the clubs.

Love that is a three course kind of meal since we don't have that kind of thing at home. Bonus that I do not have to cook, serve or clean up!

Just wanted to say that although Palo's is fancy - this is the place most likely to be able to cater to your liking. So if you are a picky eater, you might like this place MORE since they make everything to order and can leave off things you don't want easily :)

And the dining room can be 4 courses - if you do soup/salad then app then entree then dessert! :)

Ok my DH just told me I need to take a vacation from my vacation planning because I am getting too stress out :scared1: LOL

All of this talk about dessert is making me hungry!!! Back in St. Louis for the night with some bad weather...may or may not be flying to San Francisco tomorrow :scared1:

18 days left...wooohooooo!!! Also just realized that there is a Disney Store very close to where I am staying tonight, so we may still be able to pull off matching shirts at the port!:banana::banana:

Okay - so I don't think we have decided on a meeting place..which we probably should soon as I think a lot of people are going to be starting their vacations in the next week or so!

1. Whoever gets to PC early can all meet up if we want. I'm hoping that we'll get there about 10 or so, so we can hopefully have earlier boarding number.

2. A couple of people really thought meeting up on the first day was a good idea. So, if people want, let's set up a time and place for this. (I have no idea, as this is my first cruise, so someone pick a place/time). I know this would be neat, because then we could recognize people easier this way if we have met everyone!

3. What time/place for meeting up on the 2nd day?

As this is my first cruise, I have no idea on location/etc. SO, someone that has cruised before, just pick a time/place for each and maybe we can go from there?? :confused3

Sounds good! Our first cruise too, so I won't decide, but I think we should choose something soon! We won't be matching, cause they closed our Disney store here in Ottawa, but you can identify DH by his bald shining head!!! My daughter and I both have alot of hair and if it's humid, it will be a blonde and brunette nest fest!!! Also I just bought a black and white polka dot carryon in honour of the Mouse and his gal! :lovestruc

I haven't cruised disney since 1999 might say first time for us as well:rotfl::rotfl:. We will have grey mickey shirts on & barring problems should be at port @ 1030. We are looking forward to meeting everyone, just tell me place & time for first day.

Same here...first Disney Cruise. We will probably be there around 10am too.

We will have matching blue shirts with a Mickey head on them! Also, DD4 will be the one running around and dancing all over!! =)

Here is an idea as a person locater for when we arrive at the port, whoever has a dollar store near their hotel, get a helium balloon and if they have a disney one, that would be a really good identifier. I will be at Disney World on Friday so if I see one of those mickey balloons (do they sell those still?) I will get one. Look for a mickey balloon. That will be me, or my daughters because chances are they will want to carry them!! :lmao: We plan on arriving to the port around noon.

Well that is a great way of getting out of wearing that "D" :rotfl2:

I am hoping to be on the ship just after noon....we will be there more like 10:30-11:00 .

That's a good idea...but bringing a balloon from home in MI...that would be a longggg drive!! I was thinking maybe making little signs for our luggage? OR, we could make signs and put them on the backs of our LOs or DHs!! hahaha
