January 29, 2011 - 7 Day Eastern - WOOHOO!!

Just finished another portion of the FE (pieces of it will be traveling with me this week so I can make good use of hotel-time). Should be on track to finish this weekend.

Also trying to figure out what we have (already packed) and what we need to get still. I put all of DH's clothes on the dresser before I left today and said, "try these on before I get back." Seems clear to me, but not sure it will happen before tomorrow evening!!!

Yes there is alot to pack, I am taking 3 suitcases this time so I dont have to cram everything in.

We only get 1 free suit case each with Jet Blue. Thinking I may just pack as much as I can going down and buy what we need when I get there. If we need an extra bag at least we will only have to pay for 1 way.

Oh I that is too bad. We are flying SW so 2 bags ea free, I told dh if I need we are taking 4......

As much as I think it will be fun to dress up I almost agree with him. All the extra stuff I have to pack for the 5 of us is stressing me out. Not sure how I am going to get everything we need into 5 suit cases LOL

I understand completely. We are staying at the world beforehand so my packing options are going to be extremely limited. That being said we will be decently dressed and will enjoy ourselves regardless. We leave exactly two weeks today and I am sooo excited

Thank god...that was so stressful with the kids.....it was like $22. a towel...thx TifffanyD

No problem. On Castaway Cay there are also drops for dirties so you don't have to haul them all the way back to the ship. I can't remember if they had clean towels out on the beach tho.

When we were in Grand Cayman last time a girl had left her Carnival towel in a shop and was *SO* happy when she came back and the shopkeeper had it. As much as a pain it was to keep track of our Carnival towels - they were really nice towels. They were huge and nice - the DCL ones are kinda small (more like bath towels or like the towels at the Disney hotel pools). You can take multiple tho... but they are not like true *beach* towels

Yes I remember them nice big navy blue ones.....thick as well. We took ours into Bahamas but we only went to the beach and back so we used them to lie on didnt need to dry it was soooooooo hot..... I had a feeling the towels were like the ones at the resorts oh well at least we get them......

God I am so excited I hope these next 3 weeks fly by...

I know - and I am not ready - OMG!!!!

Oh when it is time to be, you will be ready. I am just waiting to actually put my stuff in suitcases....it has been getting piled in my corner in my room. Yesterday I said to my daughter after I drop her off at her friends I am going over to Bluenotes to look for some little summer tops, she said Mom you are not all ready yet, I am dissapointed........ I am I just thought I would look for a few new tops.

Got most of my fe things but still have more to shop for, havent even pulled my suitcases out of the closet yet! Im usually more organized at this point, hopefully today I will get the sorting out done as far as the clothes we will be taking.Nothing like pulling out summer clothing on a winters day!woohooo!

We finished up with our FE Gifts over the weekend. DW put a finishing touch on them that I thought was really creative...can't wait to give them all out.

I can't comprehend how close we are to sailing!!!! DW & I are going to be quite busy over the coming weeks, and it makes it seem all the more closer. We end up saying "well, we have this in x days, then after that..." and soon enough we end with, "and then WE'LL BE ON THE BOAAAAAT!!!!!!" I like the last part best...but I'm quite excited for what we have coming up (attending 2 concerts & 2 musicals).

I started sorting our stuff in piles last night...stuff for travel down....stuff for the carry-on....the rest of the stuff.....

19 days!! My DD4 is SOO excited!!

Same here - just bought SPencer a new suit, 2 shirts and 2 ties (Formal and Semi Formal Night).......our family theme on Formal night will be black and white with a touch of purple. Semi FOrmal night will be a Touch of Gold.

Cant wait to get the family pictures!!

I thought I was the only one who coordinated our looks!!! We are turquoise and bkack for formal, black and white with a little purple for semi-formal (except if DD decides to wear a princess dress

My kids even have coordinating casual outfits!!! I was surprised but my Ds (8) still thinks it is kind of cool to have polo shirts and t-shirts that match is baby brothers!! Thank goodness for Children's Place and Gymboree.

I figure I only have about another year at the most that everyone will tolerate this, so I am taking advantage on this cruise

LOL!!! I always dressed my first 2 boys alike, then my 3rd & 4th...after that not so much....... My 14 yr old always laughs when he sees pics with his brothers dressed the same or coordinated.....funny thing my mom did it with my sister and I and when I got older I would always say why did you do that?Then we (both my sisters and I) did it with our boys......

I just cant stop thinking about it...I am now eat sleep and drinking the Disney Cruise.... Dont know how I am going to get thru these next few weeks....

You could do what we do...look over scans of menus and try to figure out what you're going to have for dinner each night
