Jealous and working like crazy to get to this point too!

Im waiting for my hubby to try on his tux to see if it will still fit , he d better do it soon so just in case it doesmt fit I can starve him for a couple of weeks yet LOL:rotfl:

No tux here but I will have to check on his suit thanks for the reminder. I think I have to have my son try on his too. But in our case we have room to let down his pants because we knew he would out grow them.

I want to go tomorrow but I am not ready either......:rotfl:

My husband will only be wearing it on formal night. That is if he still fits it. If he doesn't it will be dress pants , shirt and tie. If you are like us it is only for dinner then we run back and change right after.

My first two cruises I used to dress up every dinner with dress pants and different tops , sun dresses. Now I go casual , capri pants and nice tops. No need to change after.

Forgot to say flat shoes , I do not do will with high heels...

Is it really necessary to bring dress pants for the formal night for the men? Can casual pants dressed up with a nice shirt (possible tie) suffice? We have a holiday before this holiday and space for stuff will be an issue.

I think I have all of my fe stuff ready, I have started to put it all together. It is fun to do!

Two more weeks til we officially leave the snow and cold and head towards Florida...sweet!

Ok, so I figured I am on holidays and I splurged and booked a pedicure appointment for the Sunday at 12:10pm. After spending 4 days on foot at WDW I deserve this!! Surprisingly there are lots of openings at the spa, I was pleasantly surprised!

Good for you - you do need to find time for yourself!!!

I realized today DS needs a new suit. Over Christmas I put on his shirt and it was suddenly too small, but I kept hoping maybe it shrunk??? Today, I put on his suit and it is too short and too snug....UUUUUGGGGHHHH. Wasn't planning on buying a new suit, but guess we are now!! Funny how stuff will fit them for a long time and then all of the sudden they just shoot out of it. :rotfl:

Same here - just bought SPencer a new suit, 2 shirts and 2 ties (Formal and Semi Formal Night).......our family theme on Formal night will be black and white with a touch of purple. Semi FOrmal night will be a Touch of Gold.

Cant wait to get the family pictures!!

Formal night is a funny thing. You we see people really dressed up, like long gowns and tuxes. Then men in just suits. I suppose there will be men too like what you described. Formal night is the night you meet the Captain in the atrium and can take pictures with him. I have only done this once ( picture I mean). This is also the only time you will get a "free alcoholic drink" being passed around at this time before dinner.

If you will feel comfortable then I say go for it. Beside most casual pants , like dockers look like dress pants. I might dress it up with a tie.

Some people op out of formal night by eating up at Topsiders or other places on the top deck.

Worked most of the day today on FE and almost done.:banana::yay:
My dh asked me today if we need to take beach towels with us and I said I did not have a clue. Can anyone help out?:confused3

Dylan needed a new suit too. Love the family theme!! What a fun idea!

Funny I was thinking the same thing today.

On the other cruises I have been on we went to the pool they swipe your card, give you a towel, if you dont hand it back in at some point you will get charged for it...you can keep the same one or hand in each time. Dont know if that is what Disney does.

There are towels at the pool... You can take as many as you want. Then there are drops by the pool for dirties. You can take them off the ship and at Castaway Cay they hand them out as you get off. It's not stressfulbat all. On Carnival we got them in our room and you had to keep tabs on it or be charged for it

As much as I think it will be fun to dress up I almost agree with him. All the extra stuff I have to pack for the 5 of us is stressing me out. Not sure how I am going to get everything we need into 5 suit cases LOL
