JANUARY 27, 2007 "PAL MICKEY" Western Magic ROLL CALL

We're getting closer! It is true though - that it gets a little crazy around the holidays. The good news is once Christmas is past it'll be time to focus on the cruise BIG time! AND it'll only be a month away!!!!

Are we all ready for the holidays?? My husband asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I replied "Ship board credit" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

My DH asked me the same question. I asked for a hot stone massage and noticed that its all set up on our ressie already  ! I can't wait!!!!

I got the "family" a pirate Mr. Potato Head, the Pirates DVD Scene It game and a Pirates Dice game to throw under the tree. The kids love the Disney scene it game they got last year but now they are so good that even I have a hard time beating them. :rolleyes1

Well PM has found a special place in DW's heart, but no luck finding tropical clothing for the little guy. We'll keep looking. At this point DW will settle for a t-shirt and a pair of sunglasses that fit him.

I have two tropical shirts but they are too big. With Pal Mickey we go with the flow sometimes. Wish I could sew!!!! :sad2:

Beth,

Thanks for the offer, but I just found out there is a Build-A-Bear (BB)Workshop at one of the malls nearby. We will head up there after the holidays, bring PM along and see what we can find. I wanted to have a PM outfit under the tree for DW, but it will have to wait. All the local department and craft stores have a limited supply of BB stuff and it is mainly for the larger 12-16" bears. Also, it looks like the BB stuff is seasonal, so it is mostly winter clothing. Correct me if I am wrong, but PM wears the 8-12" bear clothes?

David

I don't have the answer to the BAB question, just bumping this up.

Although I can tell you its a good idea to bring PM with you going there!

:santa: :santa: :santa: We've been tracking Santa on the Norad website. Hope you all have a safe and happy holiday!!!

Finally it's back up, MERRY CHRISTMAS!
On Saturday when I went to the root domain the message said they were doing an upgrade/maintenance and would be down for 24 to 48 hours. Maybe they thought not many users would be online on the Christmas weekend.

Strange. Right now I can not see anyone's user pics/avatars, and I can not insert smilies!

Happy Holidays to all!

Wow, one month and counting, six months ago it seemed like an eternity, but it will go by like that and we will be sailing in no time!! See you all in 31 days!

it really is hard to believe how fast 6 months has gone by. i know for me my schedule at work is booked for the next three weeks out of town.

so the cruise will be here before i know it.

for now i have scheduled to work from home the week prior to our saturday departure. hopefully they will stay. since i won't be home the few weeks before i just think i will need that week at home to make those last minute shopping trips, make and recheck list of what to take, assure have everything Pal Mickey needs etc...

plus hopefully that week even though working from home will be slow work wise and I can relax some, dreaming more of the cruise that will be in few days that week.

:yay: :woohoo: :cool1:

so ready for this vacation. a time to sit back relax, no cell phones, no computers, no one from work can reach me LOL. just time for me and with friends.

Hey everyone.........just wanted to share my excitement. I called DCL today to see if I could get our flight info thinking they would not give it to me because we are more than 30 days out and I hear they are strict about it. Well, the guy I spoke with was so friendly, emailed the info to me and within seconds I had our flight info. We fly out on the 26th nonstop at 2:40 in the afternoon with arrival at Orlando at 4:50pm. We will check into the Hyatt and see you all at the port the next morning:cool1:

The way home is good too - on saturday from orlando at 12:30 and then a layover in atlanta, home to richmond by 4:00. I would have preferred no stops but at least we are not sitting in the airport from 10am to 3pm like last time - yikes!

I did the exact same thing today!!! Great minds must think alike and yes, they e-mailed me the info too. Our flights are awesome. Ottawa - Toronto - Orlando and the same on the way home. It doesn't get any easier than that. We don't leave until 2:00 p.m. so unfortunately, we don't get into MCO until 7:10 - so much for going to Downtown Disney but it's the same on the way back. I was very worried that we would have a horrendous number of stopovers and tons of waiting but it's all good!!

Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!!

OK guys, Now that Christmas is over I can finally concentrate on the cruise. I am getting so excited. I have some w\questions for you veterans. Do we know ahead of time what nights will be pirate, formal and semi formal? Can I guess at my restaurant rotation with early seating and a 3 and 5 yr old? The only night we could get Palo was the last night. I'm sure there is a reason that went last. I read something about a graduation from the kids clubs. Is that why the last night isn't as popular?
Thanks all. I'm just starting to try to get all this organized in my head.
