We are doing good... VERY busy... but it helps to pass the time until the cruise

Is everyone burned out from shopping yet?? I am feeling soo DONE! I need a vacation just from this lol...it is not fun shopping with kids

So we are getting closer, and I still havent picked out where we are staying for the couple days we are going before the cruise...I think I am hoping that I suddenly come into some money lol

Any word on if Disney is going to have any new movie releases while we are on board?

We're staying at the Sheraton near the airport and then going on the shuttle from the airport...

I'm pretty much done for shopping...now comes the cooking!

Hi everybody!

I think I'm just about done shopping! Just need to figure out something for my mom.. yikes!

Things aren't as crazy as I thought but I have this feeling that it is going to get very hectic within the next few days? ! I got a few things like small bottle of hairspray and such the other day.. need to start packing! But seems that I have christmas presents everywhere instead!! Need to get organized and get that checkoff list/ packing list! I also need to put together my f.e. gifts to see if I need anything else!

I sure do hope it's going to be warm! we have been so cold I hate to think that we will be wearing pants on the beach!

There seems to be some good movies out there for new releases! Maybe we'll be able to see them like Bolt or the Bedtime stories one!

We haven't been to the movies in quite a while so the kids should be able to catch up on board. We haven't even seen HSM3 yet! We're still preparing for Christmas - I can't believe it's only about 2 weeks away!

Booked our flights home today, now have to book a hotel for precruise. We are looking at Buena Vista Suites - they have a great rate that includes a full breakfast & they have just finished a renovation. Anyone have any expreience with them?

Ok everyone, DCL is making a big announcement tomorrow - what do you think it could be? I hope it's something that will apply to our cruise!

I am officially DONE shopping for Christmas... now I get to work my butt off (I work in Costco bakery) for the next few weeks... that cruise is going to be well earned

My brother called today and offered me tickets to the Cheetah Girls concert... tonight! Yikes!! We are going to go... the girls are soooo excited! It's snowing here, so hopefully there won't be a lot of traffic problems...

I heard about the special announcement earlier. I to can't wait to see what it is. Like the others guessing, I'm hoping it has to do with some kind of on board credit or discount we'll get back...

Our shopping is done and we have several totes around the house with WDW and cruise stuff in them. I guess we'll have to start sorting those out soon and packing. I do have to shop for a few stocking stuffers and some FE items, but I think we're set.

Send the snow down this way. We can stand to be closed for a day or two..

Bummer and only 3 day cruise isn't worth going all that way for.. at least for me at least.

Looking forward to cruising. I have not been on the boards in sheesh, prob a month, so I will have to see what has been going on. I just read about the special promotion. It may still work for us, if we re-book on the cruise that is. As it stood this year when we re-booked our up-coming Jan 09 cruise, we received 10% off plus a $100 on-board credit ($200 credit for 7 night cruise). If we re-book on-board in Jan - we still may be eligible for our next cruise with the current deal because it falls within the designated time window. I have to look up what kids cost, but I am pretty sure it is more then the 10% off that we received (around $250 for the 2500 cruise +$100 credit = ~$350)...That is if you were going to rebook...

Yeah.. just booked a hotel the night before we fly out since our hotel is about 2 hours from home for free! Well I used my marriott points.. plus we can leave the car there and has shuttle service wahoo! This way we won't be traveling all day!! Besides who is going to sleep the night before anyways!! At least there is a pool and we don't have to worry about rushing to get out the door by 7am!

How bout everyone else? Doing ok I hope! It is within sight!! Everyone is getting really excited.. we talked today about our schedule of events and they loved it!

I hope everyone up north is keeping warm. It's cold down this way, but after watching the news, I don't think it that cold as up there.

Well I was playing on the Disney Cruise site and it looks like we're on a full ship. Nothing was coming up for our cruise.

I have not been on as often as I'd like. Busy time of the year at work. Curious to know 1. How people are planning on checking out Atlantis? Excursion or on your own? and 2. What other excursions folks are signing up for - Disney, non-Disney, and which ones? We're getting close!!!!

Good morning! Since it is a short cruise we decided not to do any excursions! We are going to enjoy the ship and the beach at Castaway Cay!

We might go and check out Atlantis as much as you can without buying tickets and try our hand at the casino for a few seconds..course without the kids. we'll leave them with the grammy and fafa!
