January 24, 2013 3-Night Bahamian Cruise on Disney Dream

My packing advice is to bring medicine. We didn't on our second cruise and paid for it. No Walgreens to pull into and get meds. We now take kids and adult meds. With the flu going around, you never know what can happen.

And our vgt room assignment turned out to be 8122. Killer room at a great price!

We leave this Saturday for WDW! Yay!!! So much to do though

I found out our room assignment today and was hoping for better. My OGT is 7004, a bulk head room in the very front, obstructed view with no curtain. Oh, well, I guess since it is only three days, it really won't matter that much.I won't make the same mistake again, should have paid the extra $200 for VGT. I hope everyone else has great luck.

Booked and IGT and got my room assignment today! It is 2011 and I don't know much about that room, gonna have to go look it up! I always book IGT and hope for the best, never been disappointed yet. It is a CRUISE! YAHOO!

I see a lot of you are hanging the FE on your stateroom doors, anyone else doing magnets or decorating their stateroom door like us? I'm not sure if it's a dying trend as I tend to see more FE than door magnets.

Finally, a room assignment! VGT room 5662. I had wanted something higher up in the ship but this one looks to have an extended patio so that could be nice. It's my first time doing a verandah so I hope I'm not too spoiled!!

I'm just trying to figure out what to do with all my extra time since I don't have to log onto Disney every 30 mins to check! LOL!

I do magnets and/or decorate my door..no Fe this time ... have done it many ,many times before so this one will be FEless..

Magnets here too...just can't forget to pack them. We fly into MCO Saturday and I'm so frazzlebrained from all the packing, planning, etc. Very excited!!

Happy everyone is finally getting their room assignments!!! Now it's getting close. Trying to finish up shopping today for some last minute things and packing starts on Thursday;-). Can't believe it's finally here. Just looked at the weather for sail away day much better than the 30 here in Ohio!! Bye bye snow hello sunshine!!!!

yep it is getting very real now..less than one week!

What is the first thing your gonna do when you finally get on board after lunch??

Me?? I wanna do the vacation dance and explore the Dream, get a card for the Midship Detective Agency...enjoy the sailway party.. have a drink on the verandah and watch the world melt away.

The two rooms in question have not had posts since mid November. Do you think they may have changed their minds on doing a FE?
