January 23, 2010 Sailing with Mickey on the Magic! **The Crusin' DISers**

We are home. We have cold and snow. I wish we were back on the ship. I loved meeting everyone! It was great. Thank you for all the wonderful FE's. We loved coming back to the cabin and seeing all the goodies in the FE. I needed almost an entire bag for all the stuff we got. We didn't re-book on board (wish we had) but after talking about it DH and I are thinking Alaska is next. We have to wait a year or two until he retires from the Navy as he is NEVER home. I don't think I can wait that long. I may have to work on a 4 day in between.LOL:lmao: The kids had a snow day today (recover time) and have a two hour delay tomorrow (unless we get more snow). I have laundry coming out of my ears. I was sad this morning. I had no one to get my coffee or hand me a menu at dinner asking me what I would like to try. Back to the real world.:sad1:

I'm still waiting to have my dinner prepared and served to me...fat chance, huh?! :lmao: Oh well, good thing we booked a dummy date too :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone for all the great FE gifts, that was great fun and you are all so creative! That may have been DD's favorite part of the whole cruise.

I'm glad everyone made it home safe and sound.

My computer won't take my card from my new camera :scared1: I'm hoping it will work on another computer. Untill I can, does anyone have pics they want to share? I'd love to see them!

Here's the reason WE had so much fun!

That one was not us but DH had a close call in GC all because he wanted a burger at Margaritaville. Needless to say I was way to nervous and took the boat back while he ate his burger. I was in the shower but they called my parents room asking if they knew where he was. At that point he was on the last tender back. My Dad was telling me there was a pilot boat right under his porthole that day after we got back (deck 2) and he couldn’t figure out why. How funny.

I knew we had sailed away without a passenger, glad to see he did at least get on the ship!

Jen, thanks so much for organizing the FE exchange!! We also needed an entire small suitcase for all of our FE gifts, menus, souvenirs, etc. :)

I was Sooo Impressed with the FE on this trip!!1 Dave you and your family was my daughters favorite!!! I used my cup the entire trip--cleaned it out of course - also whoever did the scrap book memory book I gave this to guest svs and everyone signed it which was both their favorites!@!! Ate plenty of chocolate lol and loved my castaway frame.

Thanks to the spicy red head who is on here someone my kids adored you...we had tons of fun on the grand cayman trip.

We booked a 4 nighter on the Dream for 10/23/2011.....DH enjoyed the trip but thought it was too long!:confused3 Me? I thought it was just right!:) So I talked him into a 4 nighter to compare the two

A HUGE thank you to everyone for all the wonderful FE gifts! We loved coming back to the room and discovering what was left in the pockets.

I did discover that we packed WAY too much (as i thought, but couldn't stop)...so now I know what to do next time!

Not caring for the snow here in WI, but the memories of the vacation are still warming me!

DH said he thought someone got left behind. Would love to know the real story.

We had a great trip! Did anyone read the negative post from someone that was on our cruise? I read through it and was pretty much horrified at what all they wrote and that they complained about the food and had special stuff made. Would you ever? I just had to vent. We had such a great cruise, but I guess attitude is always a choice and I choose positive.

Thanks to all you guys for making the experience even better! You guys rock!

Well they obviously weren't hanging out with the right crowd...we had a great time!

I agree completely, attitude is everything :thumbsup2

I read that too! I was thinking "what cruise were they on?" because we had a great time and had some really good food at all the places they dissed...

We LOVED all the FE gifts! The kids really had a great time getting them every day. It just about killed me to see them in the FE and have to wait til the kids got to see them... ;)

Did anybody have Angelina as their server? She was our assistant server back in '06 and I hunted her down for a photo!

....opps will try again

I had Cornwall and Thomas for my Asst Server. Many different ones for other meals but not her.

I had someone ask me if Trevor was a CM onboard. Anyone see him?

Yes, he was part of the entertainment crew and did the two "Innovations" talks they had on the sea days. Also ran into him in Cove Cafe with Darren, the Assistant Cruise Director. (Darren...Darrel...geeze I hate getting old)
