Hi! Well it looks like I am the organizer for the magnet exchange.

For those that wish to participate, here's how it will work:

You would make or buy 10 magnets. One is for yourself, and then you will gift 9 families.

You will receive 9 magnets.

Does that sound like fun?

If so, PM me your name and email address, cabin # and whatever details you feel comfortable sharing with your group. Some people might like to personalize the magnets so consider including names and ages of your family as well as anything special about your cruise ie: celebrating retirement or whatever.

The deadline to sign up will be December 13th 2009 (same as the FE deadline).

Hi Tracey, well I guess that's up to you. You could make or buy whatever you wish. I bet some people will do big ones, and some will do small.

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving everyone. Don't worry, your turn for turkey will come soon enough

We have relatives coming from both sides of the family this weekend and will eat 2 massive meals. I am on a 'diet' for the first time in my life. It's called the 'put less cake in your mouth' diet. Not sure how it will go this weekend

Anyway, hope everyone is enjoying the fall. We plan on getting outside for a nice walk.

I don’t know what has gotten into me. Maybe I am just in need of a major vacation but I am so excited and can’t wait to go. These 3 months are going to go by so slow!!!

Well with the good comes the worse. First off everyone is familiar that I broke my foot. We found out the other day my Dad has cancer. The will be doing 33 radiation treatments starting next month. He is very positive and says will make this vacation so I am holding on to that. I would love a bang out trip before my Dad was unable to do more.

I've got good news and bad news... the bad news? We decided to cancel our Jan 7 day Western. The good news? We're still going on a 4 nighter in January and we're doing the October 30th 7 day western in 2010.

Why, you don't like us ?! Just kidding.

As far as I know this is it. I also assumed there would be more people.

But when I got to thinking, it just might not be a "busy" (relatively speaking of course) time for families to travel. It's only one month after December break. Our schools are closed for 1 1/2 weeks then and they make a REALLY big deal about taking kids out of school....I haven't mentioned it to DD's teacher yet
