That surprises me, I assumed they would just keep it down after the holiday switch over. Now I’m sad it might not be open in March when I go…

Small World generally goes down 2 weeks after the end of the holiday season for removal of the overlay. They remove the overlay for Haunted Manion first. Then move to Small World.

What do you mean by "no times available"? Rides don't have "times" except for Lightning Lane reservations, and of course those don't show up on the daily calendars.

Yes every attraction has an operating time. You go to each attraction on the DL Website and you can select dates. No times available means closed/refurbs. Every attraction has its own operating time and daily calendar selection.

I'm confused! The Holiday version ends on 1/12 and the ride itself shuts down on 1/21 for an extended refurbishment? What's going on between 1/13 and 1/20?

I am not sure where you are getting the 1/21 date from. I know that date 1/21 was previously announced and floated out there. Right now, They are no operating times for Small World Holiday starting on Sunday 1/12. Last day for operation is Saturday 1/11.
