January 2017 trip

How is the weather in January ? If anybody has been towards the end of the month can you let me know thanks

very nice. It's hot enough to go swimming every day and it's not humid and the rain is low. The down is that things might be brown - grass, hills, etc.

I was there at the end of January this year. Weather was beautiful, very hot during the day (80-85) and sun was strong. Others we spoke to said it was unusual though and was due to El Niño. Resort was not crowded, however I'd recommend getting pool chairs early if you are going to swim and do the lazy river. On our last evening it was kinda cool out, we went across the street for dinner and I wished I had worn a light sweater or sweatshirt.

We went at the end of January / beginning of February last year, and we loved it so much we're doing the same next year! Weather was warm and sunny each day, and the resort was relatively empty. Hopefully 2017 will be just as great as 2016!
