January 2016, book room only or package?

We are planning a trip for late January, early February 2016. We are looking at booking soon for either Caribbean or Coronado but hoping to add a discount that includes dining plan. If discount is similar to play, stay, dine, we will do dining plan but otherwise are okay skipping the plan if the room only discount is a better option for us. Would you book room only for now, room and tickets, or room with tickets and dining plan?

I would book the whole package with dining. Then once discounts come out you can decide and change accordingly. We have gone the last 3 years at the end of January first part of Feb and always end up doing the stay play and dine. We have our upcoming trip for January already booked....208 days to go!

I agree that if you are hoping for a discount that involves a dining plan, then book a package. If you decide to take a room only discount instead of stay/play/dine, you can still apply it to the room portion of your package.
