I gave up on waiting and called to book today. We are heading to the Poly for our anniversary!!!

The CM I talked to was a sweetie and said while there are no discounts for our dates (Jan. 15-19) WHEN they come out I can just call and add it then. I was very excited about the when, and not an if. Maybe I am reading too much into it, but a girl can hope!!!

Sounds like a fun trip!!! I think something will come out. I did the same thing as you and booked our trip and am waiting to see what the discount will be. The CM I spoke to did say that historically there's been offers but we'd have to wait and see. I'm hoping they have something out by Oct 1.

We have a specific room that we like at CBR and try to request it. We did a room trade last year after a couple days, just so we could have it! I love it because we can see the fireworks. It is just perfect and beautiful! We are watching the Disney movie right now!! C'mon Disney bring me some good news on the day the boys go back to school!! Fingers crossed...Pretty Please!!!

What are the dates of the cheerleader competitions??

The competition is 2/9 & 2/10.

Also the UDA National Dance Team Championship is on Feb 2-3. So you can plan on All stars and CBR to be VERY busy on Feb 1-3.
We stayed at CBR last year and during that week it was quiet at the resort. 1-2 people in the food court lines. Friday came (and so did the dancers) and it went to 10 people in the food court lines, no seating in the food court and teeny bopper dancers everywhere. We were ready to leave come saturday. That is one of the reasons why we are trying POR this year. The don't go there unless they were to book themselves.

i know right?!? waiting for any news about jan discounts is killing me. i'm stuck and can't make my next move till either i get a discount or the airlines go insane and offer free flights for everyone.

It was a travel agent saying she'd heard on Wednesday that the announcements would come out Monday or Tuesday of this week. Had something to do with red heads? I think?

I was googling for info and didn't really do anything with that.

My frustration is that Canada is not counted as international -- The British site has amazing deals
