January 2013 Discounts

I already have my dining reservations made...now just waiting on the resort discounts to post. Why is Disney torturing us this year?

Subbing. Planning our first trip with DH, DS-8yrs and DD-4yrs. Nice to have a place to be a little OCD! Hoping for any discounts Jan 16-22. Crossing my fingers!

I gave up waiting and booked at the Swan with mileage points, would have loved free dining but I don't think it will be available my arrival date of Jan 19th (Martin Luther weekend) anyway. If Disney anounces something amazing I can always cancel at the Swan but for now I have 5 nights at the Swan followed by 2 nights at Universal's Hard Rock. Really looking forward to this trip!

I went ahead and booked at AoA for January 5 - 11 with AAA. Not a big discount, but at least I have the room I want. Still hoping for FD or a nice RO discount.....

We already have a vacation booked for November. My DH school and the VA messed up paper work, so we had to use our savings to pay for class. School is going to take their sweet time returning the money. Even though the VA has now paid the bill. We may have to switch to January. I would not be happy to give up FD, and then have nothing. I don't mind if it is RO or FD I just want something,

well, today is the day I join the crowd with being very impatient. I feel like I have been doing a good job of waiting but now I am going crazy!! I am trying to figure out finances and if I am staying on property or what....I am an ocd planner and this is killing me....I am scared we aren't going to know till this promotion is over Sept. 29th and that is so very far away

I think they are referring to a bounceback, but from what I heard, it was for the normal free dining period in Aug-Sept???

I was just perusing a thread in the Dining forum, and someone from the UK had posted the text of an email discussing free dining in Jan. 2013.

I'm hoping that this will be released soon for us here in the US.

Just logged on the wow website and clicked on special offers and then clicked on the FD link and it too me to a message that said the website was down for maintance! I only PRAY this means they are adding dates for January!! What do y'all think???

I'm getting the same message when trying to make dining reservations.... But I'm really crossing my fingers that they will release some kind of discount for January!!! Excited!!!!
