Same here! I think I started our countdown around the 400 day mark.

(She still doesn't know... trying to decide whether to surprise her on Christmas morning or keep it a surprise all the way up till the day before we leave.)

I was going to give our January trip as a Christmas present this year but have decided to surprise them again. Not going to tell them till the moment we leave or wait for them to figure it out on the way there.

I ended up surprising her on Christmas morning.

Just wasn't sure how she'd react if I waited till the last minute... thought she might need time to adjust. Turns out she was THRILLED being surprised on Christmas and I'm now certain it would have been fine as a last-minute surprise too, but oh well.

Maybe next time.

Got my Mickey Mail with some vouchers (many of which are quite deceptive, making me think I get a free spa package then read the back and the tiny print says 15% off a REGULAR priced one... pffbt, at least I get a free round of minigolf :laugh. Leave for Florida in 7 days, then another 4 before we're allowed to enter Disney

I still need to buy a new pair of shoes pronto and get started on breaking them in!

Who is visiting in January 2012???

We just booked our trip for Jan. 2nd - Jan. 8th! So excited. We were thinking of switching our dates to the following week to get free dining, but decided it's not worth it since we're staying at Pop. We prefer sit-down restaurants to counter service.

If you get free dining and it is quick service you can upgrade for small amount per day per person to the 1 TS and 1 CS basic MYWD plan which is what we do as we like the TS meals. we had tried the DDP but that way to many TS for us and we do at least one signature or dinner show per trip and use the 2 TS for them...we stay at POP and have upgraded the last 4 trips. IMO would change dates if had choice. my sister and I going on the 3rd but she has to take the days they gave her off or I would be changing dates to free dining...
