Just started my plan for which park on which day.....I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Decided to end the trip Friday night at the Magic Kingdom with Wishes!

Just had to share that when I called yesterday to make ADRs (yes, we decided on FRIDAY to take advantage of a pin code and now we're headed to the Poly the weekend of Jan 28!), there was no room at the Neverland Club on the night when friends planned to join us for a grown-ups-only dinner.

I called back today and space had magically opened up! So our DD (age 9) will get to go back to her favorite place -- the Neverland Club -- and we grown-ups will get to have a nice relaxing dinner at the Kona Cafe! Yay!

OMG!!!! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!! I just booked our trip for Jan. 2011!!!! We had been planning for Jan. 2012. I had to take a small loan on my 401K for a few things and decided "In for a dime in for a dollar" so I took out enough for a disney trip as well!! It's going to be a mother/daughter trip. And my 9 yo DD has no clue!
... BTW, Hello to all you other Jan.er's out there. We're going to have such a good time!!!

I know this is bad of me, but I'm secretly happy about that...last trip dh dragged me on the ride and the other people on the ride laughed at me for being such a screamer LOL....I HATE those drops.

We will be there Jan. 24-29. I saw a lot of others going then too. I think we all want to take advantage of the lower crowds.

Started to look at ADRs and am very pleasantly surprised at availability-
I even got CRT for the day and time I wanted. Maybe it won't be as busy as some say MLK weekend can get. Ohana seems to be the only one I can't get but I'll keep trying...

We're leaving on Dec. 31st (driving) and won't get there until lunch time on the 1st and heading home on the 6th. Can't wait! It'll be us and my 17 year old brother and 25 year old sister.

I was beyond excited and surprised when I was able to get a CRT ressie for breakfast. I had never even bothered checked cause I just assumed it was useless. But just for kicks one day I checked for an opening for breakfast and got it.

You may be having trouble with 'Ohana because it's closed from January 17-20th, so for a few days of your trip. Plus probably a lot of people are trying to squeeze it in their schedule before it closes. That one may be tougher than normal.

That's good to know. I was having trouble w/ that one, too. Could only get one way later than what I wanted on the day I wanted it.
I was thinking of just going at the time I had wanted, about an hour and a half before our ressie and hoping they could get us in. There are only two of us. Anyone try this before or will I just be wasting an hour and a half.

I think several of us DISers are going to be there that week. We should all try to do breakfast or something together one day.

I thought about driving myself. My aunt lived in Miami for decades and we have made MANY rode trips to FL. I have been stuck in KY and TN with far too many ICE STORMS than I care to count. There was NO way I was going to risk loosing days at Disney stuck in a scarey motel due to an ice storm. Two hour drive, two and half hour flight and whalah! we're there.
