I haven't seen one for January yet, so I thought I'd start one. What are you hoping to see? We're planning on going for 9 nights, so I'd rather have a room only discount or maybe see the gift card promo come back. Being able to use both and maybe split our stay would be even better.

I'd love a really good FW cabin discount! I love to stay at FW in the winter time, when it's actually cool enough to get out and walk in the campground. I got a very good rate last year, and I'm hoping for a repeat.

Jumping in here. We are going Jan 2-8. Decided to skip Jan 1 as rates are so high. I currently have a room only at AKV for $5199 - on hold until 27th, but am leary of making the room only ressie.

FYI, I was quoted $1900 for a FW cabin. Tempting, but not quite right for our party.

We thought about the cabins too, but they were about $1000 more than our ressie at CBR. If there is a good code out we may try to stay at WL for the last few days of our trip.

I'm hoping to take my daughter for her birthday in Jan this year. I'm hoping for the 4/3 deal again. Or a good % off the room rate.

subbing...we're not going until late Jan/early Feb. this year and we're praying for something good. A 4/3 deal again would be a little piece of heaven. Right now I'm just on pins and needles waiting for package rates to be released so the perfectionist in me can get a more exact budget as that's what we plan for, regardless....and any deals that come out are just icing on the cake.

So glad I found this! I just made a post on here about what is usually the best deal for January! I've read about the 4/3 (5/2 in the values we would be staying at...pooh) and heard about the gift card offer (don't know how much they were for staying at values though) but just hope something good comes out!

Anyone know when we'll hear something? I read on Mousesavers that the historical time that some of the deals start coming out is around the end of Oct or beginning of Nov...long time from now. So, are you all just making a regular ressie and hoping to change it when the right deal comes around?

As for my family, me, my 5 (will be 6 in Jan) year old son and my dh will be going b/c dh has a conference Jan 12-15. We are most likely going to go down few days early and stay a few days after and come home on MLK monday. This will be my son's 6th trip! Unfortunately, we are HUGE fans of the Free dining deal and have used it several times but January is not the usual time for that!! Wouldn't that be great if it was?? HA!

Anyways...looking forward to seeing all the deals!! Subscribing now!

As far as I know, the earliest they have come out is the end of September. They released the free dining promo later than usual though so I'm worried that we're in for a long wait.

Subbing! We're heading down the 22-29; had the free dining Sept '09 but it was way TOO hot for us. Looking forward to a cooler vacation this time. I can't wait to see what kind of discount they'll offer (it has to be something since they have since 2006). The 4/3 deal plus a gift card sounds amazing. Does that mean you have to buy tickets and room separately? Obviously dining would be paid out of pocket. Correct?

We're planning for the second week in January. We're not doing a package this time, so I'm hoping for a nice % off the room rate. Fingers crossed!

My friends and I have ressies at POR but are hoping for a discount for room only. I still have lots of unused park tickets. Hoping for better weather than last year, when we were pelted with sleet while waiting for the start!

Hoping for the discounted room rates (as we already have non-expiring MYW, and 4/3 doesn't work out for us).
