We're going January 19th through the 22nd. I added the 22nd so my daugther will be able to go on the Grizzly River ride, which is her favorite (it opens on the 22nd after being closed for refurb). We'll only be able to be in the parks for a few hours before we fly home to Seattle on the 22nd, but it is worth it.

This is our third January trip and we have had good luck with the weather in the past. We even managed to dodge the rain last January. I'm not sure if the luck will hold this time, we'll see. I am already obsessively monitoring the weather websites.

We're headed for a short trip Jan 7th - Jan 9th! No plans where we're staying or anything, but we're going!

I'm starting to work on packing (we leave Weds, and hopefully the snow they are predicting here won't mess things up!). I just checked the forecast, sunny, mid to upper 60s for highs, NO RAIN PREDICTED!!!!! I'm so excited to dig out and pack my sandals - and sunblock!

There is a huge conference at the convention center Weds through Friday (I think those are the days). That's why the hotels are all booked.

What HDahlia said!! It's always worth a looksie to check the Convention Center website to see any upcoming events that could play into crowdlevels but mostly hotel availability!

We are leaving Thursday so we will be there the next day. In the park Fri, Sat, and Sun. My 2 year old is so excited!! I was surfing the web and she came in and asked to see Donalds boat. we proceeded to look at almost every slide show for the attractions on the disneyland web site and after every one she just said "more". Then she threw a fit when it was bed time (she is usually very easy to get into bed). But I think I am just as excited as she is. She can go on most of my favorite rides so it will be extra special this time.

Definitely pack that sunscreen!! I totally messed up by forgetting mine. Let's say my face is a little on the pink side.

We will be there the afternoon/evening of Friday the 21st. Just a little surprise visit for the kids this will be the first time we make the drive up from SD for just a few hours worth of DL. We usually go for at least three days.

I know the feeling! I haven't seen it since September and that just feels like so long ago. I wish I knew when I was going to see it again. I was hoping to during one of my two trips in December but it just didn't happen.

I just got lucky the first time that they had three shows back in August, I plan on just waking up and get to the parks at around 7:30 am at the least.

Last time I went I was just minutes away from getting the last few tickets.
